the CURT 57004 is excellent for adapting a 4 or 5 pin flat trailer to your round 7 pin connector on your suv. My WV Atlas recognizes when a 5 pin trailer with led lights is connected using this adapter. Well made, solid construction. this gives you tail/running lights, left and right turn signal /stop lights. It does not prove a power ( 12v) nor a brake signal control - because those are not available in 4 or 5 pin connector.

Received the product but did not seem to work at all for my application.  Contacted Walmart who noted that although I bought from them I was working with a Marketplace provided.  They redirected me to eCustomHitch (their Marketplace Provider). Contacted eCustomHitch directly and they provided the information for Curt (Manufacturer).  After contacting Curt they noted that although the unit should work, it is not intended for my vehicle / application and may be problematic.  They noted another product that should work.  Contacted eCustomHitch again and they provided free return shipping and partial refund (cost difference between the two Curt parts) and are shipping the new part to me.   Was please with eCustomHitch as they made it right by me.  Thanks
