My wife has feet pain from time to time and a hot soaking seems to help. She said she really likes the little stubbies that vibrate against the soles of the feet essentially giving a message.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the worse feet ever, and have even had them operated on! I hate hate hate having my feet touched, so trying this HoMedics Foot Spa with Heat was shaping up to be quite an adventure. The directions were by themselves in a plastic bag, and easy to understand. Fill the foot spa up with water, and if you wish to add Epsom type salts, that will be OK. I had some of them around from the after Christmas sale at Walmart, so I added Dr Teal's Lavender Salts. If you don't have any right off,that is OK, for there is a nice size sample included in the box. 

Make SURE the water is hotter then you want it at first. I wrapped a towel around it, for when you take your feet out, you will need something to dry them so you don't drip on the rug. 

Fill up the spa, add your salts if you want, and plug it in. There is a lot of massaging action going on in the middle of the spa. There are some nubs on the bottom that you can rub your feet on, if you wish to do that. You can stretch out your tired toes, for I wear nearly a Size 12 shoe in Women's sizes, and I had a lot of room to stretch out. 

Yes, the water stays hot, so check it with your hand before you go putting your feet into it. 

You have to sit down and stay still to get the benefits. It is very relaxing. Do NOT jump around. 

I soaked for about 15 minutes, and my feet felt like a young persons. They even had a nice rosy glow to them! 

I have no reservations on giving this a high recommendation. Your poor feet take a beating all day, and this will be a nice treat for you and your feet after a tough day.

It is a great feeling to pamper yourself after a long day at the office, or shopping at the mall or anywhere you've been. now you can come home to total relaxation for your feet. HoMedics Thera-P spa has it all. I love that it has heat. It gives you a gentle vibration. It comes with a bonus pack of salts. If you have overworked muscles , then this is where it's heat portion helps. I also love how the massage rollers soothe my arches and soles.. the soothing heat helps to maintain the warm water temperature...If you have your own Epsom Salts you can still enjoy a rewarding soak. So if you have been wanting a way to make your feet feel better, this product will take care of you.

Overall great. Not a lot of bells and whistles.  Does  what it says.  Nice got bath to use with salts and oils.  Relaxing!

Great

I bought this based on some reviews, used it a couple times to try to give myself a pedicure.  This item states  it does not warm up water but keeps temperature same.  This is not true the water eventually gets cold this does NOT keep same temperature you initially put in nor does it warm up water.  It also does NOT massage, all it does when you turn on is bubble.  There is those little things on bottom that you can rub your feet back and forth to massage your feet but that's as far as it will go.  Otherwise it's good.  Based on what this product states I don't think It deserves a 5 star.

JUST OK

Vibrating motor began failing the second day, running erratically and then after a couple of weeks, not at all. Heater still works, which is why I bought it. Blue "water guard" is worse than useless. It's not water tight, so when you dip it to let the water pour out the front through the notch in the middle, it comes out all along the front of the unit, from one side to the other, guaranteeing a mess. I discarded the "water guard" and pour it out a corner and it works fine. Cheapest water heater for foot baths around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy to receive this Homedic Deep Soak Foot Spa with Heat.This is such a great tool for preparing your feet for a pedicure at home.
It's very easy to use. I filled the tub with warm water to the line, then added the packet of Epson Salt that came with it. After 10 minutes the water was too cool, it seems like there is no heat. The instructions say that it doesn't heat up cold water, just keeps warm water you add warm. So I dumped out the water. This time I put the hottest water in the tub that my feet could stand. I put in some of my own Epson salt, and I was ready to try again. I put a towel on the floor underneath the unit, in case of any spills.
I turned on the unit and soaked my feet. There is just a gentle vibration, enough to relax tired muscles. It was relaxing. 
After about 15 minutes, the water was cool. I really don't feel the 'heat' feature works well at all. I really think this is something they need to improve, which is why I only gave this 2 stars! Warmer water would have made my feet more softer, and it would have been more soothing for my muscles.
On the unit there is a removable massage roller attachment. You can rub your arches and soles against this for a little massage. This too wasn't impressive.
After 20 minutes, I turned off the unit. I took a pumice stone and started scrubbing off the roughness on my heels of my feet. The soak did soften the skin, so it was so much easier to soften the heels. It also loosens up the cuticles, to get your toes ready for polish!
All in all if you want a deep soak for your feet, this is good.

Good for a Deep Soak

I bought one for my wife last mothers day and it didn't work, i took it back and swapped or for another one. I took that one home and checked it straight away and it worked fine. Recently my wife went to finally use it for the first time and it doesn't vibrate. Very disappointed, i couldn't be that unlucky to get two non working foot spas in a row.

Doesn't work

It's a fancy foot tub. I put scalding hot water in and when it was safe to put my feet in, I turned the unit on. The water was still very hot. After about 15min, the water was luke warm. In other words, whatever "heater" is in it, does next to nothing to maintain water temperature.
The bubbles are just that, bubbles; they're not pulsating strongly enough to relax in and of themselves.

OK foot spa, but heat is a lie
