Good product for extending wifi reach

I found the extender very easy to set up. Took just a few minutes and now I have more reliable signal on the top floor. I just need to make sure my phones and tablets connect to the extended signal and not my modem.

A slightly improved connection in the back room but must be plugged into the corridor which is halfway, not very efficient when plugged directly into the back room that needed it

Scope

Inexpensive way to help wifi , didn't seem to be new ! No name on package and was not sealed! Look as a returned, or something , if used it was to high price,. It works , wouldn't call it new !

This actually made our Wi-Fi worse, it's difficult to install and even worse to use. We are returning it. There is an app but in true Windows/DOS fashion you still have to go to their website to do certain things.

You need to make things easy and seamless. If I have to contact customer service to use something I don't want it. I'm returning it.

Not easy to use

The wi-fi extender did not stay connected to the main router, which is approximately 20 feet away. The application D-Link Wi-Fi also became nonresponsive at times on my cell phone. Not a reliable product. It will be returned.

Does not stay connected to the main router

Couldn't setup the extender. I tried it through the app and my browser and 2 hours later it's being boxed up to return. Dlink tech support is non existent, even though it says they're there til 530pm. The app will just close during the setup and the browser will get a white screen during the setup and I have to repeat the process.
