Consistency fine but good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a week of use, I find the Daise Peptide Lip Butter Balm absolutely awesome. It is light on the lips, not sticky, not too fluid, and its hold is really good for a gloss. It is super moisturizing: when my lips are very chapped, the application is very fast and the difference is obvious. I thought the color would be more opaque, but it’s a pretty transparent hue, and I imagine that sera is the same for other hues. Even if it is supposed to have a cake pop scent, I perceive rather strawberry-banana (which I love! ). The big advantage of this balm/gloss is that the little jewel is both cute and practical. Other brands offer glosses with charms impossible to tie or simply ugly, but Daise perfectly understood what everyone dreamed of by drilling holes in its glosses to make them keychains! At such an affordable price, it is the ideal lip balm to find in pharmacies!

The texture is really the major asset for me: it is incredibly smooth and light, without ever being sticky or drying out. It gives a beautiful glossy finish that lasts a long time. Although it is called "Cake Pop", I personally find that it smells more chewing gum, but I do not complain because the smell is delicious! As I often struggle with some balms that leave weird traces after a few hours, I am delighted to say that this one leaves a really minimal white deposit over the course of the day. The opening of the applicator is a little small, so you have to press a little hard, but the formula is worth it. In addition, the small interchangeable accessory that comes with it is a unique and truly adorable touch!

I tried others that claimed to give this luminous effect, but in reality, it wasn't. I love the applicator because it fits my lips well during application. It contains a few glittering particles that don’t bother me and that I find pretty. It has a very pleasant vanilla scent and its texture is perfect. I only wish it had cleaner ingredients and an SPF index, so I could use it all the time.
