[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DAP All Purpose Construction Adhesive is a useful product to have on hand.  I used it with my caulk gun to fix a piece of trim on the wall in the bedroom that was becoming loose.  The adhesive has a strong hold and stays in place without drifting. It makes it so much easier to work when it doesn't glide around. It has low odor which I appreciate especially for projects in the bedroom. The color is white and dries light so it does not show through the trim or interfere with my white wall decor. The cleanup is really easy. I cleaned up with just a warm damp cloth.  
I also used this to fix a piece of baseboard moulding. The adhesive is a good alternative to using nails; no need to puncture holes and no need to fill or repaint nail holes. 
It's been about a week now and both my trim and baseboard moulding are holding up really well. This is a brand I've used before for other products (with great results) but first time using their adhesive. I'm going to consider purchasing the All Purpose DAP Construction Adhesive in the future given how reasonable the retail price is.

A Little DAP will Do You

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to receive this all purpose construction adhesive in exchange for my honest review as DAP has been a trusted brand in our home for many years. I've been putting off figuring the best solution for our attic access trim that holds up the cut drywall for a while know and this adhesive was perfect for strengthening the attachment with ease. It provided a quick hold while I applied clamps. It was easy to clean up any excess with a quick wipe and with 24 hours of cure time it held everything in place the way I expected and no real odor.

Great for interior use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is great. I have used this several times since I became a homeowner. I will be buying more in the future to do my bathtub. This product is very durable it withstands. It can be used for multiple home projects. I don't really notice an odor which is good. Is is very easy to clean. The only bad thing if you don't use the whole thing it can get dried out.

Household Utensil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house doesn't have much storage, so my husband built out some shelves in our garage using a DIY handyman magazine. He used DAP Adhesive to build out additional shelving. 
He used the adhesive to glue pieces together, followed by screwing parts together as well. Everything worked great and he was happy with this product.

Works as described

It does have a smell but nothing horrible and it does go away. The cleanup is easy and we would use this product again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As stated this is an all purpose adhesive for various construction and remodeling projects. The all purpose is interior use only. So unless you are doing something a bit unusual or outdoors this adhesive should cover the majority of your needs. This tube of adhesive does need a caulking gun to apply it. It also states that one surface must be porous. I ended up using it to reattach some chair railing that got hit while moving furniture for other remodeling work and was partially detached from the wall. I ended up fully detaching that section of railing, putting this adhesive on the back and then putting it back in place. This is also labeled instant grab, which it seemed to do a pretty good job of. It at least stuck well enough so that I could put the nails back in. The section I repaired wasn't overly long, but it also wasn't short either so I didn't want to take a chance of just testing the glue on its own without nails, just to potentially have another project to do later. Overall this is a great adhesive. It was easy to use and as long as you have a caulking gun it probably wouldn't hurt to keep a tube or two around for quick repairs around the house that come up from time to time.

Great adhesive for most diy projects

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This DAP construction adhesive is a great addition to help decrease the amount of nails needed for trim work around the house. It's held up well so far and pretty easy to work with. I'm going to try it out on a mirror as well to add some trim work in the bathroom. Only gave it 4 stars because it does dry out if you don't use it all pretty quickly.

Great for trim details

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This construction adhesive is an all-purpose so it's not just versatile but also reliable from what I can tell by using it. This bonds to a variety of materials which include metals, plastics, wood and even concrete. It depends what kind of project you're doing if this is what kind of DAP you'll need. This isn't like your regular kind of caulk which I was more use to using. However you still will need your caulking gun to use it so it'll come out correctly. I haven't noticed hardly any smell when using this product. It's also minimal mess and after it dries which isn't quick in some cases like in others it has a strong grip to it and secure hold. The white color is full white which made it perfect for everything I needed it for. I've used this in both indoor and outdoor projects around the house. This is ideal for the DYI enthusiast and those professionals alike. If you need a good adhesive this one is your best bet! It's never failed me for what I need done.
