My new ceiling fan is quite and beautiful

five stars.  This one replaces an old fan and really looks and preforms just like I wanted it to.

sets a good glow to the room

First let me say this fan looks nice and runs smooth.  The light globes are really pretty and the 2 selection of fan blades are good choices.  That being said, you know to know a couple of things before you by.  1.  You cannot run the light on a switch and the fan from another switch - they are wire together so the remote works properly.  2.  There are no light bulbs with this unit.   3.  This does not run on a 9 volt battery as indication nor is one provided.  It runs on 2 AA batteries.  and 4.  It only comes with a 5" down rod.  This is still a nice fan and a good price but you do not get everything advertises.  Glad I bought the extra warranty for I am afraid we will find ourselves needing it in the future.

only reason for 4 stars is it was missing the pin that holds the fan to the down rod other than that works like it should
