Demeyere cookware is the best of the best. Each size and shape of the vessel is manufactured for optimal performance. Sauce pans and other straight sided pots are heavier on the bottom than the sides for maximum heat retention,flat bottoms for even cooking over the entire surface and rolled rims for dripless pouring. Fry pans and other conical pots have thicker bottoms and substantial sides to create maximum cooking throughout the pan. Stay cool handles, beautiful finish and no rivets only adds to the value of these pots making them an essential addition to your kitchen.

Very handy

This dutch oven is a really nice size and does it all in regards to cooking.  This pan is made from a 7 ply construction (layers) and  will never warp even when high heat is used. It can go up to  500F and I have used in on my BBQ as an additional heat source during the holidays and had no problems.  The pan has pouring rims to prevent spills and two helper handles which make moving it around the kitchen easy.

This is a perfect dutch oven size for cooking casserole, stew, sauces, and cooking grains such as rice. Great for making broth and soups, and can be used for deep frying, and braising meat. Copper disk ensures impressive heat conduction, and even heat distribution. Proprietary technology ensures the base stays flat even when heated, and will not warp. It is to last a lifetime investment. I've had a variety of stainless steel pans, Atlantis is one of my favorite cookware. Safe for heavy metal kitchen tools, and extremely scratch-resistant. However, the keyword is “resistant” so, with enough force, anything can cause scratches. Therefore, wood and silicone kitchen tools are recommended. 
Highly recommended handwashing, preventing from the dishwasher's detergent abrasiveness and from any damage-causing from bumping into hard and pointy stuff during the wash. One of the best stainless steel cream cleanser I can recommend is Bar Keeper's friend, it is easy to clean; just soak with water and soap and use a sponge to remove food residue.

An excellent dutch oven!

This amazing dutch oven from Demeyere is equipped with seven, thick layers of durable stainless steel. What does that mean? Well it means that heat is conducted and distributed more evenly and cooking efficiency is maximized when you use it. AKA, this dutch oven is the best.

Atlantis cookware with a 7-ply base is remarkable for fast and even heat retention. Welded handles with no rivets remain cool to the touch on stove top and eliminate debris build up on interior. Silvinox treatment keeps pan bright and shiny and makes for extremely easy clean up. Well worth the investment.

Awesome Dutch Oven

This gallon capacity dutch oven is unparalleled. A  pan for the serious home cooks. Demeyere pans are known worldwide for exceptional quality and performance. This pan lives up to that reputation. Solid, durable pan that will heat evenly and quickly..  Ample size for family meals. Exceptional heating for searing and browning.  Perfect for induction cook tops.

Incredible pot

This is one of my favorite shapes. It is also my favorite size. I use it every other day. Really. It does everything. It functions as a dutch oven, a deep fryer and a pasta pot. Great for curries, stews and soups. Beans and rice cook evenly and gently. This 4-qt is perfect for 2-3 people with a little leftover. Try the 5.5 qt for 4-6 people. 

Demeyere made me rethink my cookware plan. I have spent my grown-up years upgrading to better cookware, which for me is (was) copper clad pans. But there are some challenges with copper, mostly maintenance.

Enter Demeyere Atlantis. I love this stuff! It has all the best parts of copper cookware and it's easy to clean!  In addition to being technically sound (it cooks well; heats evenly and is responsive to temperature changes), it has bonuses that help to justify the price.  

No rivets - no cleaning around those annoying little screw heads.  Comfortable stay-cool handles – easy to grip and lift.  Looks good – shiny exterior stays that way.  Just a note – it is heavy, like copper, but some things can't be helped. There's copper in there, and copper is heavy.

Worth Every Penny.

I love this Dutch Oven,  I use it all the time, great for cooking Pasta, Soups and Stews,  easy to clean.
