Battery

Have 6 DeWalt single fast chargers, this unit which sits in my office replacing all the single units, is a great addition to my work place, and allows me to put the single units into separate tool backs just in case I need a charge at the work site.

This fast charger is awesome. It ain't cheap but delivers. It will charge for batteries. When you put a battery in, a fan turns on and starts charging. It's pretty cool.

Charger for the DeWalt Fanatic

One of my first purchases when entering the Dewalt ecosystem when I didn't have many batteries and needed to focus on up-time for my household projects.

This charger has been amazing when working large projects where I need to keep my tools going (especially when other are helping me and using my tools).

While I don't use it as a daily charger (I prefer slower chargers in general), this guy will keep you going for as long as you need to when using several high-draw tools at once.

Downtime? Never heard of it.

The star ratings and reviews speak to the quality of the charger and its fast charging capability.  However, where the gripe everyone has is with the Toughsystem INcompatibiity. Specifically, Toughsystem 2.0. Sure, Dewalt advertises Toughsystem compatibility, but without a deeper dive, most will find the limitation of the legacy Toughsystem. NOT Toughsystem 2.0.  So, for those who read this, makers, DIYers, do not let the design limit what your heart desires. If you have this charger, it's likely you have other Dewalt, or alike, tools to make this unit COMPATIBLE with your Toughsystem 2.0. Do we want it to do more work out of the box? No. Do we stop there? No. Simple cuts on a table saw and your sailing into Toughsystem 2.0 capability with your DCB104 holding on tight as you intended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to renovate my basement, I knew I would need to update my old DeWalt 18v tools. 

My wife gave me clearance to buy every tool I would need. I've always been a fan of DeWalt, so it was an easy choice. I loaded up on DeWalt 20v tools. 

  Having multiple tools and batteries is a lot easier with this charger. Now I have a way to keep multiple batteries charged and ready to go. 

  My only “negative “ is that it does not slide into the arms of the ToughSystem. It does use the yellow clips to attach it to other DeWalt ToughSystem boxes though.  

If you are reading this, just buy it. You will not regret it.

DeWalt Quality

I am happy that this quick charger can handle 12v, 20v, and 60v batteries.  From dead to fully charged, I was able to charge 12v batteries between 12.5 minutes on average.  The mounting holes are awesome, and so is the handle for at times I was able to take a rope and hang the charger where most convenient.  Awesome job DeWalt.

Very fast. Very efficient.

If you are an advanced DIY, doing a remodel, or otherwise an advanced user this is essential - especially if you are using 60v batteries.  A bit expensive, to be sure, but it helps the batteries keep up with your work.  I like that it is designed to be wall-mounted or otherwise screwed down with the included mounting tabs.

Essential for 60v tools and heavy work

This is a great charger overall except for the fact that it doesn't connect to the tough system stuff as it says. The feet on the bottom to hold flush against a wall hold it to high to lock the tabs. The tote is the only one it will halfway be held by tabs but it's not sturdy bc there's no top on the tote to hold tight against to.

Great charger except..

Extremely disappointed that charger doesn't fit 2.0 ToughSystem.  DeWalt please make an adapter so this works. You are a leader in the industry.  I have tens of thousands invested in DeWalt. Manual says it will attach and it does not. My first time actually ever being disappointed with DeWalt. Third generation DeWalt owner. And I have never wrote a review.
