I am a commercial roofer that does 24 hour emergency repairs. This light is a MUST HAVE with my business. As you can see in the photos below, it illuminates the work area as well as a great light to illuminate the area around the truck as we are loading up the truck. I highly recommend this light!!! Another super product by DeWalt!

Unbelievable design, features, and functionality!

I bought one about two weeks ago. We are remolding a house and it works great. The three potions light switch is nice.. On high about 4 hrs. On medium about 6 hrs. On low setting about 7 hrs. This is going camping with me also. The only thing is buy an extra battery if you are going to be using it a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is awesome! Built heavy duty. I use it for multiple applications. I own a HVAC company and take it with me on all my installs. It actually saved our 4th of July celebration. The power went out for a square mile for about an hour and a half and we had a bunch of friends and family over so I busted this puppy out with a 60v flex volt battery lasted all night and the party went on! I also lend it to my bro-in-law all the time so he can shoot many marketing pics for his company. He says it's the only light he will use now. He's just to cheap to buy his own lol. Easy to use, bright, heavy duty, do yourself a favor and buy it!

Best Light Ever!

Great light, powerful and small enough to store out of the way when not needed. I haven't fully exercised this light but the few small projects I have worked on, this provides plenty of light for any size room. Also works as a great secondary source of light during power outages, lighting up the entire downstairs in my home.

Great light

This is one of those tools you don't think about until you need it. 
While working late into the night in various buildings you need this tripod Light! Cut the power to move a wall or demo and now you are racing the sun. After months of using small flashlights to light up my workspace at night, I finally bought this tripod light. WOW! what a difference. Much safer working environment.

You don,t know you need it until you need it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this when I remodeled my house and while I had no power this light worked amazing. Used a 6AH battery and it lasted for hours in the light. Provides plenty of light for any of the work I was doing. Also use it to paint from time to time.

Very convenient.

I got this for my husband for Christmas, I hesitated because of the price, but got tired of extension cords. This thing is bright, portable, stable and folds for easy carrying. the only downfall is the big battery that came with it does not charge, I need to figure out how to get it replaced

Light where you need it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tripod stand is very sturdy and the height extension is great. Very bright and spreads over a large area. The only thing that it lacks is a cover for the lens, for protection when kicking around the job site or in the back of the van.

 mine does not last as long as others claim.  
with a 9 ah battery on high we might get 3 hours before the light starts blinking, likely closer to 2 hours    the battery still has over 50 % charge but the light blinks  
this is an annoying feature  
we use dewalt batteries and chargers as others i have used do not charge fully.

goes through battery power fast

It broke at the pin just standing, using it to paint

the leg broke and there is no fix
