Have the old tstack one they don't make anymore. wanted a second radio. this thing is great
- lasts on a small 4 amp battery like a day and 1/2-3/4 volume
-big battery is good for 2 day
- loud enough for a construction site
- clear volume
-bluetooth works well
-really like the quick on off power. Just have to touch button, old style you had to hold, was a pain
- a lot smaller and easier to handle
- holds the radio preset without needing a small battery
-
cons
-wish it had a battery spot to have time but really not a big deal
-bit pricey for a radio but I have problems and keep buying yellow tools. Whats another couple hundred!!

First of all, it's made by dewalt, so you know it's going to be a great product. 
Second, to get specific, the sound and bass are high quality considering it's compact size. It can definitely get loud which is a must when you're on the job site and I personally love the volume knob. The radio I used previously was a gift and it was made by ryobi. You had to push the volume button a hundred times it seemed to get it to the desired level. This radio adjust smoothly and the blue led screen is a great complement. 
I really love this radio but I also just really love dewalt too so maybe I'm bias but this is a genuinely great product.

Love this radio

I bought this 6 months ago and use it every day has good sound and goes as loud as I need to hear on a job

This radio performed well for a couple of years. I use it mostly for radio, not much else. I don't mind the lack of remote, but I get that complaint. This weekend the power button just stopped working. Kind of a funky thing - wouldn't turn off even if I pushed it...so I took out the battery, and when I reinserted it turned back on without the button (surprised). Then an hour later without any pushing of the button, it turned off and never turned back on. Tried it with different batteries...nothing. Honestly was happy enough with the 2 years I got out of the machine that I was going to order another one. BUT, now I see several other complaints about this issue and I am not so sure.

Good, but power button?

Had this radio for years.  It just keeps playing my favorites on and on.  Hardly touches the battery for drain when on that.  So convenient to be able to also plug it in.  Connects to all bluetooth devices effortlessly.  Good Sound Quality with volume controlled by the radio as well as my phone.

Dewalt

Weak sound but okay for garage and jobsite use. Unfortunately, the power button stopped working shortly after the warranty expired.  Ended up in the trash can.

Worked okay for a while

Bought a few years ago for my husband and the radio stopped working rather quickly, it will no longer connect via Bluetooth and other than that the radio will just shut off after a few minutes if we can even get it to turn on.

Broke quickly

This is my second radio both are now broken with the same on/off switch issue as everyone else! Dewalt will not offer parts for sale for repairing . Only 4 years old low usage.  Unbelievable!

I purchased this radio to use on a remodel job I was doing on weekends, with plans to use it in my shop when the project was done. The radio was only used on weekends, and was not abused, but stopped working nonetheless. The radio went from difficult to turn on to stopping altogether. For a while it could still be used with a battery, but not with the cord. Now the battery rarely works. I bought it based on the Dewalt name and good reviews but I ended up with a lemon.

Stopped working

Sitting on a bench in my (dry) basement, I was upstairs and heard music playing. When I went downstairs, the radio was somehow, on.. Weird.. It wouldn't turn off with the button so I unplugged it, plugged it back in, and now it won't turn on! This is obviously an issue with this model.. I'm reading reviews from 3+ years ago that say no parts were available then, possibly they are now?

Not a great choice, but something else instead.
