I bought this tool on impulse thinking, oh I'll find a use for it. And I have. For 101 things, none of which involve drilling holes in concrete. Today I was fighting with Chevy 8-1/2” rear end that did not want to give up the yolk. Tried everything I had and nothing. Then I grabbed my Toto hammer, put a flat blade in it, set it on hammer and walked that stubborn yolk right out. Easy peasy. Mechanics out there, you're welcome.

101 uses

dewalt.com

walmart.com

I probably have used this tool over 400 times in the past 2 years I've haven't had to replace it yet I put subfloor down on top of concrete and have to drill through wood into concrete and this thing works immaculate I have no issues using the chisel blades with it and no issues with it overheating on me it does what it is intended to do

Easy to handle, very powerful

The roto-hammer worked as well as corded units that I normally use. I was not expecting it to perform so well. I figured that I would need the 60V model to get this much performance. I would highly recommend this product for occasional light and medium use.

Awesome 20V rotary hammer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in HVAC and mechanical and I use this for anchors for hanging strap and setting units. It is light weight so it is easy to use above head and it fits great inside condescending units without hitting the compressor or coil. The clip is a very nice addition for working on ladders. It also has quite a bit of power. It lasts a long time with a flexvolt battery. I am very happy with this product. Would definitely recommend!

Great tool

Very happy with this hammer drill. I purchased it to replace my longer D handle hammer drill. This one is much lighter and gets into more spaces.

Great Hammerdrill

Drilled 48 1/2" holes 2-1/2" deep in concrete without any problem except the depth rod does not stay set.

Great for putting in concrete anchors

Really great tool but for havin used it only for short periods at a time and maybe once a week and sometimes even longer than that,it failed no chipping while trying to remove ceramic tile and tried putting in some anchors in concrete same thing happened will rotate but won't hammer.sadest thing is I'm a dewalt guy and my coworkers had a good laugh at me and my rotary hammer

Great until it stopped chipping

These photos are on day two of use after purchasing (three days ago) I knew having a longer bit on it would require longer cool downs but within the first four holes drilled intermittently the hammer portion stopped working. Figuring we maybe overheating it by the grease could have caused the failure but for it stating it can handle a 1” bit I thought I bought the right tool for the job. I am a dewalt fan but this one seems to fall short as this is the second one that's has failed me on this job. After years of cement work and having one that has grease areas, it surprised me to not find it in the maintenance section of the manual. Which I read beforehand. Now that grease is exiting the knob I can only think to send it in for servicing or return it. Note the drill bit is 3/4” as even I didn't want to over work it. While it was working it was the best working SDS drill I've ever used, but I am very disappointed in its durability ( I returned the first one to the store as I didn't have time to get it serviced) now I am using another to finish the job as even this one only managed a few holes with rest.

Disappointed

DEWALT 20V MAX SDS Rotary Hammer Drill Tool Only DCH273B front-facing rotary hammer drill with SDS chuck and pistol grip; brushless motor, 2.1 J impact energy, SHOCKS active vibration control, lightweight design, tool only (battery not included), suitable for rod hanging, seismic, clamp and cable-tray mounting.
