I think I paid for this thing in Jan or Feb....and finally got it in April. As mad as I was, it was well worth the wait. This thing chews up wood and spits sawdust like an old Ma Deuce 50 caliber machine gun. To say it's bad to the bone is an understatement. I don't think they make a 1/4 inch router tool big enough to bog it down. Torque for days. I was making 1/2x1/2 rabbits on 6 foot boards full depth almost as fast as I could walk. It doesn't bog and it doesn't have that high pitch scream. That's win, win for any router. I waited to buy any accessories for it till I could see if I like it. I guess we are gonna give that old credit card a work out.

This thing is a tiny Beast

As soon as you pick this up you can tell it's well make and sturdy. Works great and easy to use. Love it.

Sturdy and well make.

Have been wanting this item awhile but couldn't justify $249.00 When I saw it on a Flash Deal for $124.00 it was a no brainer. Excellent Item at a great price

It's been 20 something years since I bought a router. My Milwaukee is steel going strong But, it has a cord. This new Dewalt router works excellent. The real thing is. Mobility! Thanks Dewalt.

Freedom

I finally got to use this router. This tool performed beyond my expectations. It is easy to handle, provided one holds a firm grip. Great tool. This one has power to handle your needs.

Dewalt router

I've been really happy with this DEWALT cordless router. What I like most about it is how easy and smooth it is to use. It doesn't feel jumpy or hard to control, and once you get it set where you want it, it runs through the material really nicely.

I've used it on different woodworking and carpentry projects and it has made the job a lot easier, especially when I'm rounding over edges or cleaning up a piece. The adjustment is simple, and I like that I can make small changes without fighting with the tool.

The cordless setup is another big plus for me. I don't have to worry about a cord getting in the way while I'm moving around a piece, which makes the whole job feel a lot smoother. Since I already use DEWALT 20V batteries, I can just grab one and get started.

It also feels well balanced in my hands and is easy to guide. For me, that's probably the biggest reason I enjoy using it. It feels controlled and predictable instead of like I'm constantly trying to keep the router from getting away from me.

Overall, this has been a really enjoyable tool to use. It's smooth, easy to control, simple to adjust, and very convenient being cordless. I find myself reaching for it a lot more than I expected.

Definitely a tool I'd recommend and one I'm glad I added to my DEWALT collection.

5 stars.

Very Smooth Router

Fantastic product all round. Ergonomic and safe grip and the micro adjustment means routing in depth stages is just a breeze. The black thumb turn guide is perfect too, even has threaded holes to store the securing screws while not in use.

Can't recommend this router enough. Hinges, decorative work, edge work. It does it all. Quick flute switch outs are easy too. I have used other routers and they cannot hold a candle to this model.

Best palm router on the market.

I've own this router for 2 years now switching over from my old porter cable. I shouldn't have waited this long to find out what a game changer this has been. From the variable speeds to reduce wood burning to the spiral depth gauge and lock. I get consistent cuts everytime.

Ergonomically correct

I'm very happy with this tool. It is small, lightweight and easy to maneuver. My only suggestion would be to make the index ring more readable (for my old eyes) and also make it not so easy to inadvertently move. If the ring had a lock or if it was not so easy to move, then I wouldn't keep moving it when using the router. I then have to make sure I reset it before changing the depth for a second pass.

Lightweight and easy to maneuver

When my husband got it out of the box, it had a rattling piece in the bottom. I'm going to try to return unfortunately.
