i bought these batteries and they are in my opinion excellent . only 1 problem . dewalt does not make any kind of a hard carrying case for them . batteries like this need to be protected with more than just a cloth bag i might as well carry then in a paper bag . i have a dcd996p2 hammer drill and hard case that can carry my 5.0 ah batteries but not even close with the 9.0 ah batteries and i have a dcf887b that came in a box without batteries . ive asked dewalt and they say they have no hard carrying case for my 9.0 ah batteries . you would think they would make a proper hard case for them . maybe after this review they will make a hard protective carrying case for at least the 2 pack of 9.0 ah batteries and after that make all their cases be able to hold their biggest batteries

Bought these for my station type tools, table saw miter saw, and air compressor when needed makes tools a little heavier for drills impact ect. Great run time

I stuck one on my 20v multi-tool and haven't had to swap out the battery in two weeks, I've gone through several blades, but the battery just keeps on going.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used or even seen a battery that even comes close to the 60 volt flex . I decided I would put it to the test by not bringing an extra battery . Or even a charger for that matter , with me inside a job doing some demo work on a bathroom remodel. And I was able to do the whole demo with the 60 volt flex battery in a compact sawzall . Without the battery going dead   . AMAZING JOB DEWALT 
IM TOTALLY CONVINCED AND I AM A BELIEVER IN ALL DEWALT PRODUCTS . Great run time...charge time...works well with all other tools EXCEPT my 20v shallow cut band saw. One of the tools that takes the most battery juice...

I purchased this for a 4.5” grinder I use in welding class. It worked great and delivered nice steady power, until it won't charge anymore. I place it on the charger and the light comes on for a second then goes out. No longer charging.

Great, until they don't charge again. Some last a year or two, some last just a few charges. If I did't have so much money invested in Dewalt tools I'd throw it all away.

Works great for not too long and they stop charging. Happens to all these bigger batteries. The 18v never failed. I've had about 10 of these go out. New compared to my older 18v batteries . I have to buy more because I own all the tools and need these batteries. I have no choice now. there's no real warranty. It says if faulty workmanship or material. It doesn't fall apart, it just stops charging. No help.very expensive paperweights.
