The DEWALT DCGG571B 20V MAX Lithium Ion Grease Gun Tool Only features a powerful motor that delivers 10,000 max psi to power through clogged grease fittings. It has a high-volume pump that pushes up to 5.0 oz./min high-flow applications and allows up to 16 cartridges per charge with a single DEWALT 20V MAX Battery 4.0 Ah Battery not included. A variable speed trigger offers precise control of the grease flow and the 42-Inch extra-long and flexible hose is designed for reaching hard to access grease fittings. It has a bright LED light which assists in locating hard to see grease fittings in low-light situations and an innovative pump filter screen that prevents dirt and contamination from clogging the pump mechanism. An integrated no-mar foot design allows operators to rest the tool on flat surfaces. It also has an air-bleeder valve that assists in pump priming after cartridge changes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got a tractor and loader with a lot of grease fittings. This tool was way quicker and was way better than using a hand grease gun. The length of hose was nice so it made it easier to use. I went with Dewalt because that's the batteries I had for other tools. Unlike most things now days this actually came with instructions that showed you how to load the cartridge or load from a bulk container if you had that. Seems very high quality and I would recommend.

Awesome gun had for almost 10 years now never had a problem only trick I use for loading new tube is I don't thread housing tight right way I first release the rod then tighten tube housing always works but should buy extra couplers

I purchased this product when I started working as a heavy equipment mechanic. It has made that work far easier than with my old manual grease gun. In addition, I used this tool as a crewman on an M1A1 tank, and it was the envy of the company. It made jobs such as setting track tension significantly easier than they normally are with the USGI grease guns, and this tool survived getting thrown around in tank sponson boxes, dropped 10ft+ off of turrets (not intentionally) and kept going. I still use it almost daily as a heavy equipment tech, and the only thing that has failed is the grease tube end got bent slightly, so that the pressure handle won't hold open for you to replace the cartridge (see 'dropped it off of a tank turret')

Get's the Job Done

I simply got tired of the pneumatic grease guns and air hoses getting tangled when i want to grease a tractor chassis. I'm very satisfied with this gun. It works great, powerful, and very easy to use. It may feel heavy when you're using it for a long period of time, but you get use to it.

Best buy for the price

A great method to grease tractors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the battery operated grease gun because I am slightly disabled and getting the grease gun nozzle on the zerk and then pumping the lever on the grease guns was difficult. With this grease gun I can get the nozzle locked on the zerk and just pull the trigger and the grease is dispensed. Two things that could be improved are some means of determining how much grease has dispensed - with the manual operated grease guns I usually pumped 3 times or until grease seepage occurred - also would be convenient if there was some means of a visual indicator of the remaining grease.

Good - could be better

I bought this grease gun about a year ago. It never pumped grease very fast, and it finally quit.  I figured I wasn't out anything, so I took it apart and found a very fine screen that wouldn't let #2 grease through. The best thing I did was to cut that fine screen out and put the gasket back in.  Now it pumps like crazy and made it a way better grease gun.

Decent grease gun

I cannot get a more than a trace of grease to come through the hose. no grease has come through the air bleed . when I pull on the rod to rehook the rod to the slot in the end cap all the grease spews out of the rod hole. i have held the trigger on for twenty minutes at a time. Rediculous
