Huge! This car jump starter came in a big neat bag with car charger and many other accessories. It is so huge it has a wall socket in it to run your home appliances using its own big battery. It is so big you have to see it. It has AC and DC inputs and outputs and a fast USB charging port and if comes with a cigarette lighter socket 12 volt so you can run your car accessories on it like a portable car cooler. Would really recommend if you are looking for a top of the shelf solution.

I bought this charger for my shop use. Been working very good for 2.5 years. I'm planning on buy another one for back up, looks like it's discontinued. Starting searching through the inter web and found this product had 1.6 /5 starts review. I have to put down a 5 start for it. It's one of the better ones I owned through out my 20+ years in the automitive shops.  It does everything it suppose to do and survived harsh condition of a dusty, greasy automotive shop for more than 2.5 years. We've been abuse it day in and day out, left it in the rain, in the snow, in the sun. It always worked. I don't know what people are complaining about. If I can find another one I definatly buy it again!  For those people who complaint that it goes into repair mode/maintenance mode when hook up the battery, get your battery tested, it might be a bad battery. only old school charger will charge damaged batteries, all the new smart chargers will not charge damaged/defective batteries for your safety. Don't blame on the charger, blame on the crapy battery they make now a days. I am a fully licenced auto tech with 20+ years under my belt, arguments are welcome wink wink

This product is really helpful in case of emergency for a dead battery. I am keeping this jump starter as a backup in my trunk just in case if I need any AC power or jump start any dead battery. I would recommend this product

Nice to have car accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this battery to power my art display lights in my canopy tent at art shows. One battery lasts up to around seven hours of light, I use this instead of paying for electricity at the shows.

Worked great for me except if my battery is totally dead. When I attached it to my dead battery and nothing happened. I had to trick it by hooking it up with the dead battery and also with a good battery at the same time. When it start charging I take off the good battery. Other than that it keeps the battery on my rigs which sit a lot topped off with no hassles.

Good and bad.

Was really excited because be needed a portable jump starter for our Excursion, especially when we go camping and somebody leaves a light on accidentally.  It is a 6L Diesel engine, so according to the specs, it should have had no problem.  Unfortunately, not only did it not work, the battery started smoking and burned my husband's hand when he went to remove it.

Doesn't even work on a 6L without smoking

I bought this a little over a year ago when my battery on my BMW Z3 died. I don't drive it a lot, so I bought a tool that would not just charge it, but "recondition" it. I followed the directions and I could never get it to do anything but the recondition mode, and that didn't seem to make any difference. I assumed that either the battery was toast or I was using it wrong, so I just replaced the battery.

I just tried it again with the same result. It will only use one mode and it doesn't actually do anything. Waste of money, waste of space in my garage. And I'm a DeWalt guy, though I'm rethinking that.

I wish I had read the reviews first

I had this charger for 2 years and the fan stop working when using the 30a charging feature which cause to overheat and stop charging. I know I void the warranty by connecting the fan to the 15 volt supply on the circuit board. but now the fan work every time I turn on one of the charging mode. I'll see how long it last. But i wont buy this charger and won't recommend it to anyone. Note, I only use it for maintaining my batteries and I really needed it for charging a discharge battery, It failed. I have a lot of Dewalt tools, drills, impact, radial saw, table saw, grinder, stapler. so I am generally happy with my other product. but definitely not this one. I wish Dewalt would just send me another one that work as I have spent a lot of money buying their product.

Fan not working and over heating.

It says it works for a 10L diesel, but we attempted to use it on our 6L excursion... Not only did it not work, it started smoking and burnt my husbands hand when he went to detach it.  Not safe, don't trust it at all.

I bought this charger as a gift for my husband not quite 2 years ago and it has never worked properly. Unfortunately, I couldn't find my receipt until today. This product is discontinued at the store where I bought & now I completely understand why. Please stay away from this product. Waste of money
