Quick Assembly, Cute Daybed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this daybed in a full size for my 3 year old daughter's bedroom. I love the more modern style of it and it was fairly easy to put together by myself in a couple of hours (though it would've been easier with a second person). The only thing I'll say about it is that when I first unboxed it, I called the company DHP to tell them they sent me the wrong color because it does not look gray. In certain lighting, you can kind of see how this is EXTREMELY light gray, but with both bedroom lighting and with the curtains open providing natural light, this looks like a very light linen beige color. I have since painted this room and hung artwork and it still looks light beige, but it works. In this photo, the wall color was Agreeable Gray by Sherwin Williams and the curtains are white. The bedding is by Clementine Kids and the sheets are by Nestl. Overall, it's a sturdy bed for a 3 year old and will hopefully last throughout her teenage years. It does not have a post in the middle of the bed to add support so I'm not sure how it would hold up with 2 adults sleeping in it regularly. The mattress is an 8” Sealy memory foam with a 2” pillow top mattress pad on top from Elemuse. In my opinion, a mattress any thicker than that would not look as nice.

Gray linen = very light beige

Super easy assembly! Definitely more ivory/light gray but we have gray walls so it looks great. Can't wait to get my mattress and decorate. This will be PERFECT for the TV room for my kiddos.  Bonus-if they fall asleep while watching a movie, more room and more comfy than a couch! I think this would also be cute in an office/spare room. One thing I didn't like-I feel like the head board detail isnt consistent-see photo. But I think it's one of those things I only see and with mattress and pillows it won't be as noticeable. Overall I Recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembely was easy. I did it myself. I'm giving it 3 stars because he manufacturers assume you'll have a 3"- 6" mattress. Anything worth sleeping on will completely cover the headboard design. Once I add sheets and pillows, it'll just be a reinforced cream platform.

It's really cute if you dont buy a mattress...

Beautiful bed, modern look. However the wood panels that the mattress goes on, are not heavy duty. If the quality was better, the bed would be a great buy.
