I bought this for my 6 year old daughter who wanted a bed with a slide.  After reading some reviews I was not sure and thought about buying a $1,500 bed with a slide but then thought, how long is she going to want this for?  So I decided to take a chance and she loves it.  It was not hard to put together, I did it with my 9 year old son and it took about an hour.  It's sturdy to hold my 6 year and me (130 lbs.) so  I can still climb in and read her a book in the evening.  We have only had it for about 2 weeks so I'm not sure how long it will last but it's seems to be made very well and the metal is white so it could pass for wood.  It does not look cheap at all.  I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought this set in a bundle along with the Junior Twin Loft Bed and it was the perfect choice for my two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter. The curtain panel set arrived on the same day as the bed and we had a lot of fun putting it all together. It was very simple to attach. My granddaughter loves playing in her "castle" and she can easily get in and out through the opening in the "door". The colors are bright and the material is sturdy. I believe this will last a very long time and I'm so pleased with this purchase.

My daughter loves her new bed! She screamed when she first got it. Anyone who comes to our house, including the mail carrier, gets invited up to her room so she can show off her princess bed!

She loves it!

This is a GREAT bed! Our daughter LOVES it.  I am not as crazy about the curtains that hang on it  - they come off easily and the Velcro is not very strong but the bed is so much fun for her, she slides down every morning.  Was RELATIVELY easy to put together.

STURDY AND FUN!!

She loves this bed! Could not wait for it to get here! She has had a lot of bad things happen since she was born. Death of baby sister, then just recently her baby brother was killed. She needed this!

We bought the bed / castle package and this little castle curtain play tent is so funny. My daughter loves it. We set the inside up like a little library and it's nice and quiet and calm in there.
In case they don't mention. The flaps over the rail have pockets!! This was an awesome surprise because we put her water cup in one, if I have to get in I put my phone in one, hair ties for when she wants her hair up... Whatever. Every little symbol is a pocket. I enjoy this piece.

Cute addition!

I bought this to use on a regular bunk bed for privacy on the lower bunk. I have an 11 year old daughter who was complaining about not having her own space apart from her 6 year old sister. This works perfectly. It is the right height from the upper bunk to the lower and my oldest loves sleeping in the castle. My only complaint is the curtain in one spot has ripped away from the ties. I think it is my daughters fault but any pulling at all on the curtain may cause it to rip apart from the ties. This is still cheaper and more beautiful than buying a curtain rod, curtains, your time and effort etc and making it yourself. I'm pleased.

great for tween privacy

I have already had to reconnect two tie strings by sewing them back together. It is a good quality material but they could add a few stitches to the tie where it meets the curtain.

Could use a little reinforcement

We received the item and put it together the same day. After getting the bed put together, which wasn't bad at all, and seemed sturdy, we attempted to put on the curtains. Within minutes of tying the curtains onto the metal railings, two of the tie straps broke off of the curtain. Luckily they were in non-essential areas and we were still able to fasten the curtains. The next day our child was playing with her new bed, and the rest of the straps broke off as well, the bed now has no lower curtain. I guess I will either have to sew the straps back onto the curtain in order to put them back on the bed, or just buy some adhesive Velcro strips to allow for more give. Really disappointed with the quality of the curtain.

Broken Straps on First Day

Not sturdy at all. Waste of money. The ladder and slide kept becoming detached. Ended up having to throw the bed out and purchase a new bed for our 5 year old less than a year after purchasing this bed.

Not worth it!
