I bought this bed for my 3 year old grand daughters when they stay at our house so I wasn't looking for anything expensive. Since this daybed and trundle bundle pack was so inexpensive, I wasn't expecting a lot, however, I was mistaken.  The product was packaged very well, all the pieces were there, and delivery was prompt.  The bed is well made and looks great in our grand daughters playroom.  Two of the locks broke during assembly but I called the company and they are sending the replacement.   My grand daughters are thrilled to stay at Grammie's in their new play room.

I was apprehensive about the quality of this product because of the price but didn't want to spend a lot of money for something in a guest room. It exceeded my expectations. It's visually appealing and seems quite sturdy (I even stood on it). The side rails were a little higher than I wanted, (it didn't fit under my daybed) but I was able to solve the problem with some bed risers (also purchased at Walmart).

Great trundle for price!

This is a stylish daybed, very nice-looking.  And we'll-made. The support slats screw into the frame, so no worries about them sliding around.

The trundle does not elevate, it stays flat on the floor once it is rolled out. So if you are expecting to turn this into a double bed by raising the trundle, then do not buy this daybed/trundle.

But if you are fine with 2 beds of different heights, then I highly recommend this product.

Sturdy and good-looking

I ordered the bed and the trundle. I originally ordered this as a temporary bed for my daughters. However, once it came in, I was very surprised. This bed looks so much nicer than it does in the picture. And it's much sturdier than I expected. You can't beat the price that's for sure! It's a keeper for sure!

The trundle bed was EASY to put together and very SOLID. Also easy for my kid to pull out. The only downfalls are that it is a bit too wide for the daybed as it doesn't go under it all of the way and the lock on the wheels doesn't lock. We don't lock them anyway though. Overall, still WAY BETTER then bunkbeds and very happy with it.

Not bad, easy for a kid to pull out

The Metal trundle for the daybed is a great product that I purchased for my kids. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is like the daybed which I also reviewed I find it to be very light in weight. It seems solid but I usually keep furniture an inch or two away from the wall and when I went to sit on the Daybed it moved backwards. It would be nice it they were a little heavier so they's stay put

Great product but lightweight

I was looking for something to fill a small room in my rental unit to serve as overflow bedding for my tenant's visiting friends and family. This is not the most sturdy of beds (the support slats do not feel like they could handle the daily use of a 190lbs man). If you are looking for a daybed that is going to be used every day by an adult, this is not for you. However, it is great for occasional adult use and everyday use for small children. It was very easy to assemble and all of the parts looked good. The price was great and I added the trundle for additional bedding options. The challenge was to find a daybed bedding set that was not designed for a kid's room.

Great Value, But Not for Large Adults

The day bed is  easy to put together about 1-2 inches bigger than a full twin mattress  but I thought it was larger so the trundle would fit nicely underneath , well the bed you have to have about 2 inches from wall to fit trundle under where when  get out of bed you won't  Step on the trundle bars or get foot caught in it ,   but that could be because they accidentally sent me a GREY trundle instead of the white to match the bed  but I can't see the color to be the reason . The.  Bar on the trundle bends really easy too. So if you have kids jumping around or pulling it out to hide under the bed it does bend out of shape easy.   They should make the trundle to fit the mattress a bit snugger and it would be nice .    Nicer if it matched too

Bed ok trundle not so great

This is deceiving make sure you realize the actual day bed doesn't come with the trundle. We wanted the day bed and got only the trundle. The way they name things and make the pics look you would think your getting something else, which doesn't make sense cause Walmart loosing money like that. We would of paid more for just the bed. Instead they loose money cause it's just the trundle. They messed up alot out of my 1300.00 dollar order.

Disappointed

i will give a 5 star if my trundle was clean but it wasn't, my was dirty and rusty, best way was just returned and have another one but at the time that comes i was really need it so i just clean it and leave it like it was. otherwise it does the job. sorry i try to put pictures for it but doesn't let me for some reason.
