Can be crystal clear, but also prone to distortion.

It is compact and easy to use.  I have a library of books on tape and one of lectures on tape.  With this I can simply plug into the aux port of my new car to listen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The portable cassette music player is easy to carry along. It's not bulky and buttons don't move while inside my pocket. It's seems of great quality and the kids can also use it. I. Carry it with me to my job.  Even to play any sport I keep it on my pocket

So fun to bring out old cassettes for my teen who loves old country music. This was cheap but great quality and should last and hold up well.

IT worked 1 day then it stopped So it was not what I though .

Although the tape run through smoothly, there is a constant hum that is picked up by the PC recording software.  This destroys  the fidelity of the recording.  The cassette hum is present whether powered thru USB or on battery. This hum is not present when converting vinyl from a turntable.  I wish I never bought the Digitnow converter.

Not Worth it

I never could get the thing to work.  Step one is connecting it to the USB port where the driver will be installed automatically.  I tried the cable that was included as well as two others and none worked.  I didn't try to use it until after the warranty period.  At least it wasn't expensive.

Junk!

Unfortunately, this player did not work beyond the first try—not enough power using the USB port to play the tape… and then it ate the tape.

Beware Before Purchasing

This item is of a very poor quality. Most specifically the buttons are stuck from the get go. I have had to dicard the product at a loss ans buy a new one.
