Ease Of Assembly

Great trailer, easy to put together. I did it myself in under 3 hours, though i needed help to turn it over. Directions are not so good but found online a video on how to put it together.

Galvanized DK2 trailer

Detail K2

It feels sturdy. Good construction but difficult directions. Give your self time. I wish they out the socket size to help. You'll need a torque ratchet to put the wheel lug nuts.
It does not come with a trailer jack, spare wheel, hitch/pin locks. These are necessary accessories and part which needed to be purchased separately. Registration was a ok at the dmv.

I did not get any incentive for this review, but I would accept a load up ramp for my time you know.

Quality

I bought this several years ago.  I specifically wanted a galvanized trailer, and when I saw this one I bought it, and I'm glad I did.  I see so many painted steel trailers that after only a few years. Are all rusted up.  So galvanized is worth it, especially for the relatively small upcharge.  This trailer has served me very well in my remodeling business.  I added an aluminum truck box to store items like tie down straps, a red flag, a jack in the event of a flat, and other items needed.  I highly recommend it!

I highly recommend it!

The galvanizing is heavy duty, the welds look good, the design is exceptional! This trailer may cost more than the typical, but you will often find a single tongue (instead of a stable strong V), poor finish, poor wiring quality, questionable welds, a wood deck NAILED into the steel cross members, no tilt ability, no load bearing gate, no ability to extend the bed even further with a fold-down front barrier, open sides, lower weight capacity, and other cost-cutting measures on the competition. I saw this trailer advertised for less elsewhere, but Grizzly had it IN STOCK and shipped it fast. The box is heavy and was heavily damaged in shipment, but the contents were unharmed. I though I would need to use my tractor forks to unload it, but it arrived on a lift gate truck. However, the trailer box is set on a pallet that requires extremely long forks because of the orientation. I had to use the tractor forks to slightly lift one end, drag it onto the lift gate which was then lowered and the pallet dragged off. I dragged the pallet down the gravel drive because my 4 ft forks were too short to lift the length of the pallet. If the pallet was oriented 90 degrees, it would be a wide load but would lift level and would fit on the lift gate. You might have to unpack the trailer on the truck and lower the contents individually. Each part is not heavy by itself.

Excellent design and construction!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just placed my order for a MMT5X7G. Lenora in sales could not have been more helpful in solving a number of logistical issues I presented her with (expedited shipping, etc). Excellent first impression!

Off to a Great Start!

Received within a reasonable time. Well packaged. Easy to assemble. Took me about 2 hours. No missing parts. Would have given it a 5 star, it's quite noisy when towing.

MMT 5x7 G

detailk2-ca.com

Exactly what I needed. This was just like advertised, easy to assemble, no parts missing and worked as expected on its maiden voyage. Instr8coild be a little clearer and would be nice if hardware was in a pack then would label each part.

Exactly as advertised and what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 4.5x7.5 galvanized trailer over a year and a half ago.
Solid sturdy trailer yet some of the welds leave a little to be desired (sloppy).
The galvanized part of the trailer has held up great since it was hot dipped and shows no signs of rust. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a trailer this size.

Sturdy built trailer

Trailer is 5 star but service is not. I did not get a bill of sale yet so cannot register or insure, both required to take it on the road. So since I can't use it one star until I get the bill of sale

Still waiting on documents

I thought I bought a utility trailer. What I've got is a yard ornament.

The trailer is unregisterable with the DMV given the provided paperwork, which consists exclusively of a 'Certificate of Origin' for an 'unassembled kit' out of a factory identified only as "JINHUA ZHEJIANG CHINA"...

All of this after having spent 8 hours to assemble it...initiating legal proceedings. I've left

leaving 1 star b/c at least it won't rust.

stay away if you wanna be street legal.
