[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very soft and free from tangles or knots. Some inferior embroidery floss has knots or is prone to tangling or fuzzes up on your cloth.. not DMC. It's a classic standard for a reason and the price via Walmart is the best! Looks fabulous in my embroidery and also was perfect for a fun cross stitch project I just finished! (Pattern courtesy ‘the witchy stitcher')

It's the only floss my grandmother used for embroidering everything from tablecloth, two pillowcases, two large embroideries that were large larger than poster size. They've always held their color well even after washing.

I use this thread to mend holes in jeans. Holds up well

It's DMC— inexpensive, colorfast— and the entire line used to be carried in store.  Not everyone lives near a local needlework store, and w/ Jo Ann's closed, Wal-Mart should be smart and step up.
