Very happy with my dresser.  I feel I had to earn the reasonable price by working to put it together myself.  But once I understood the why of certain steps, it made more sense.  It is well designed kit of many parts.  I now know it is well built because of those parts and that I put it together carefully.

Love my mid-century dresser

If you're looking for an attractive and reasonably-priced mid-century modern dresser, definitely consider this one. Just plan to have assistance and plenty of time to assemble it. After many hours of assembly, I had one heck of a time getting one of the drawers in - had to flip the dresser over on its side and use gravity to wedge it in. Then, it was  very difficult to get the drawer open. I bought some beeswax to rub on the wood, and that didn't do the trick of making it easier to open. So, I had to keep a butter knife close to shove in when I wanted to open that drawer. Now that some time has passed, the drawer opens without much extra effort. Butter knife no longer required!

Nice looking, good value

Some edges not sanded and drawers don't open smoothly, but pretty!

Soft wood

The piece looks ok, not as solid as I expected. It's real wood but some elements look really flimsy, like the bottom of the drawers, so you cannot really put things that are too heavy. Overall it looks good but it was really challenging to assemble all the pieces and it took a few hours.

Hard assembly

This is a solid dresser of good quality and look. However, the assembly process is unnecessarily complicated and could have been made easier

Assembly impossible but good product

The only good thing about this dresser is a well built frame. Drawer rails are both wood. Difficult to slide after placing some clothes. Handle is hard to open too.

Good frame but bad drawer design

Overall, I think this dresser will do the job, but it's not what I thought it would be. Materials are quite cheap and the wood damages extremely easily. There's a big scratch on the front of one of the dresser drawers that was there as we were putting it together, but because it took so long to put together, I I just couldn't imagine going through the process of asking for a replacement. I am disappointed in the quality and the extremely scratchable surface. from a visual standpoint, it is a cute dresser. We will be using this as a baby dresser/changing table and I'm hoping it will stand up to the task.

It'll do the job (I think), but it's cheap

It's a fantastic looking piece and made with better quality material than alternatives. However, the drawers don't store too much. Additionally it is unnecessarily complicated to assemble. Pieces are arbitrarily numbered and the instructions are given in a ridiculously inefficient order.

Great looks, shallow drawers

I built this alone over two days. There are many screws and dowels. My manual was stapled in the wrong order so the steps were out of order, and my teacher brain was not paying attention when building after a long day of work. Please be sure to check the step numbers! You must be extremely accurate when screwing in some nails as the connections are not smooth when they are not perfectly straight. I left some screws off of my final build due to it not fitting since I believe there was enough support from the other connections to support it. Overall, a great dresser in looks and quality, but it was extremely hard to build alone.

Great once built but frustrating to build

The dresser itself looks pretty nice,  but it is not all solid wood! There is a small crack in one of the side panels where a screw goes in. I have glued it, not sure what will happen. 
The worst part, there are so many panels and at least 100 screws, dowels and various other fasteners! I am not kidding about this! It's going to take at least a few days to get this together! It took 45 minutes just to sort everything out! 
If I had know this was going to be insurmountable,  I would not have bought it. I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous!
