This stuff really works.  I noticed that clothes in my closet felt damp.  We live in the deep south, so humidity is always present.  I hung the packet in there and now I don't feel any dampness in there at all.  What a wonder product.   Dryness rules!!

Works as described.  It allowed us to know we did have a water leakage in our home.  If you are wondering if there is a leak in your home. This is the way to find out.

A Healthy Need if you have a problem

Well when I bought my home I was well aware that my walk in closet was next to the bathroom and all that moisture would go in. What I wasn't aware was the fact that this fills out half a gallon of water in less than 2 months! Can't imagine all that moisture in my clothes. Before I had felt some old clothes I hardly wore moist and now its all dry and with a wonderful smell!

Sure it's a bit pricey but I get about 6 month's worth on a walk in closet next to the bathroom, wich for less than 10 dollars/ 20 a year it's better than losing my clothes to mildew and fungus and that "old clothes" smell. Specially 80 dollar pants!

I do a lot of price compare.
Sam's charges $8.28 with tax for a 4-pk which is 2.22/each, and Walmart sells a 3-pk for $8.68 (at regular price), which is $2.89 each and at Home Depot for a single DampRid it costs $3.97 (with tax, it's $4.25)! If you are going to make a purchase, do it here! You'll be glad you did!

Overall a great product if you need something like this immediately. I purchased this product for my home. I live in FLORIDA where it's HOT and HUMID all the time! In a matter of 10 days (I wrote the date on the bags), I had to change my bag out. The box says each bag is good up to 45 days, but I guess it depends on how humid the area you place it in is. I put each bag in a closet (where it is dark, damp with little/no circulation). One closet I hung a bag in was completely empty, the other was full of clothing & personal items. Both absorbed about the same about of moisture within 10 days.

The product does make a huge difference in areas like closets, bedrooms, underneath sinks, in laundry rooms, etc--- where the air maybe still, stale and contain moisture.

If you are questioning whether or not to buy the product, just go ahead and do it! You can purchase it in single packs elsewhere if you just want to "test it out"...
This is a great product! It is so easy to use, you literally open the box, remove DampRid from the bag, and hang it in the problem area. That simple! Most importantly, it works!

I'd rather continue to purchase the main ingredient (Calcium Chloride) in bulk & make my own DampRid at home (it saves me more money).

Definitely keeps away moisture! I love it!
