Quiet, does not take up a lot of space. We have to run it 24/7 and it stands up to the task. I would recommend this.

Highly recommend

This dehumidifier works great. It pulls a lot of moisture from the air as it should. It runs very quiet, much more quiet than another one I have. I also noticed that this one does not make the room feel very warm compared to my old dehumidifier. I noticed it blows warm air but will then at times blow cooler air so maybe that's why. When it's full the canister that holds the water has a handle on it that's folded down inside itself, this handle is great to help carry and empty it. I'm glad I purchased this and so far am satisfied with its results.

Great dehumidifier

Excellent quality, sturdy, wheels spin nicely, great for a 2 bedroom house, manual was well written with clear instructions. Have had the unit almost a week and have emptied the bucket many times. Very easy to use and highly recommend, well priced, also. It adjusts in increments of 5% humidity so a precise humidity level is not possible, but it does an excellent job of maintaining my desired 40-45% humidity. Bucket has a nice handle and is not heavy or awkward to empty. It is fairly loud, even on low and does give off heat (apparently that's normal) but I placed an oscillating fan in the room and that helps control the temp. Nice little unit!

Excellent dehumidifier!

Great product but has a small water container.  I empty it about 3 times a day, but the means it's working great.  I reuse the water in my washing machine.  People look at me funny when I say that but the water is coming out the air so it's clean for washing clothes in.

Nice and compact and very quiet.  Very happy with this, bought two, one for home and one for our cottage.

Nice quiet unit.

Only been using this dehumidifier in my basement for 3 days and the humidity went from 80% down to 50%. We had been experiencing the coils icing up on other models so thought we would give this one a try as we also have the same model upstairs and it works great. Yes the bucket is small but frequent che king means you are aware if it's not working properly.

Good Product

The size is perfect for a 1500 square foot basement and another reason for the purchase is because it is one of the only dehumidifiers with a 2-year warranty.

Dehumidifier worked very well but it's too big for my use. I also did not like the hot air coming out of it. I will get a smaller one, which I can put in my window.

Not working properly right from the start. Reading way to low and constantly icing up. E-mailed customer service who replied in a few days with different things to try. In the end they told me to return it back to the store and asked for an exchange. I chose Danby because I thought they were one of the better products. Problem is I got it on line and now will have to be without a dehumidifier while I chose another one.So disappointed.

Not Happy

This is not the same DANBY I purchased the last time.  Freezing up consistently-even though my apartment is 78 degrees and humid. Will have to return it 😤
