Plus points are never installed under a window or near by a window and the Danby has a way too short electrical cable. It is also fixed on one side of the unit not in the centre underneath so if you are affixing the electricity on the right side then you are already losing 1.5 feet under the unit to take it to the other side and so you are left with only 4 ft. 9" of cable to reach a plug point. You will be forced to connect it to a outlet bar (make sure it is a 3-prong (w earth). Instructions are very minimum and don't show all the steps - still struggling to with it. Will put in a review about cooling ability after a month.
