I have only used a couple of weeks but so far I like it, more than my last unit I had for almost years. My only dislike is that on "automatic" you can't select the fan speed it is low only. But unit works great otherwise!

Good quality for the price

I have had this air conditioner for a month and am quite satisfied. It refreshed my 31/2 and I was finally able to cook even during the heatwaves. Easy to install and handle it is unfortunately quite noisy in air conditioning mode. Service and delivery went well and it was quick.

Satisfied

Bought this to keep my bedroom cool so that I can actually breathe this summer. It does the job. A bit loud but the noise drowns out my cocaine-addicted upstairs neighbour, so for that I give it an extra star.

This is my 2nd Danby Portable A/C. Both cool my apartment very well! I like it very cool & these keep my apartment very cool! Quick delivery! These units are installable in just a few minutes. All parts (hose, etc.) come apart for storage.

Excellent Product!

I got this air conditioner because I am in a small Seniors Apartment, it's been great. Keeps my room cool and with the summer temperatures we have had in Alberta this year I am so thankful I bought it. I have had it running constantly with no problems. I don't find it too noisy but I wear hearing aids, so the average person might find it a bit noisy. I have had a Danby air conditioner before in a house and find them to be well made. I have a casement window & I took the fitting along with my screen from the window to a glass place & they cut a sheet of plexiglass to fit my window along with the hole for the vent fitting, they then siliconed it in place, I brought it home fitted it in the window where the screen was, attached the hose & I was in business. I couldn't be happier.

Great portable Air Conditioner

Installed in the window of my eating nook, beside my kitchen. The unit also keeps the living room which opens on to this room much cooler.  Had to cut the window pieces to fit the small window, but once that was done installation was pretty simple. Have only had about 2 weeks, with little serious heat so far so it's a bit premature to comment much beyond this. But it does throw out a good amount of air when it's on.

A great air conditioner for the bedroom. Only downside is while it's running it is very audible, but not unbearable. An hour or two of being on and the room is cooled to a point where you can turn it off for a while.
