Follows instructions for a straightforward setup process.

This is a really good air conditioner. It's definitely more modern. It's cleaner, quieter etc but be aware that this unit is for windows that open upwards. We bought it, and didn't realize, but it was okay. We were able to make it work with sliding (side) windows. Read the description before purchasing so you know. I do recommend this unit, it's excellent ❤️

Excellent unit, quite, efficient

I haven't used it yet as it is -40 here but looking forward to setting up.

Air conditioner

This is definitely a cleaner, modern version AC. The only problem is that its for windows that open upwards. Ours slide sideways, but since we had it, liked it, we managed to make it work. And we're glad we did. It works fantastically, looks clean and modern. Keeps the home nice and cool. The app, and the settings are simple to use. The price was already great, and we got it on sale 👍

Très contente de cet achat! Refroidit la pièce rapidement. Je n'ai pas encore testé la fonction wireless mais j'apprécie la manette qui permet d'ajuster la température facilement. De tous les climatiseurs que j'ai eu, c'est le plus silencieux.

Appareil efficace et utile

Danby A/C

I have another wireless air conditioner that I use with the app and I love it. I bought this one because it was wireless Wi-Fi. I got it several months back when the price was good. Now that I'm setting it up there is no iOS app to download.. as an air conditioner it works basically OK. But I feel misled because there is no Danby app to download in the Canadian App Store.. I can't even return it now because it's too late.

If you're looking for a window air conditioner, this works. But if you're paying a premium because you want to be able to control the air conditioner wirelessly, you will be sadly disappointed as I was. I was very surprised because I have bought other danby products that I have been happy with.

My Hisense-Fridgemaster window AC has a fantastic app. I can do many things remotely. I am even able to monitor electricity usage. I regret that I can't buy another one like that having spent the money for this one. The smart wireless features and being able to control it remotely, or with Amazon Alexa was important to me 😞
