I had a bit of a hard time getting it hooked up to my faucet, but that was more a user issue. My counter is small, and cupboards hang low, but it sits nicely on my floor.
I love how well it cleans my dishes, they come out looking like new. My blender was bought second-hand, and the glass was not so clear as this picture--even the cover was not this white, it was more yellow. Even with the "top brand" dishsoap, handwashing never left my dishes this clean. Would 100% recommend for those who do not have a built-in. I have found the loudest part to be the water flushing out, but that's just due to the pressure of it hitting the sink. I have a child on the Autism spectrum, so the sound was one concern I kept in mind while shopping - this does not bother or overwhelm them at all.

Also, I just want to clarify, if anyone else is confused like I was, you DO NOT need to run hot tap water - the machine has a heating element to heat the water!!

I read and researched thoroughly before I bought this little dishwasher and found excellent reviews almost exclusively. It holds waaaay more dishes than you'd think.....I just keep stacking (more than recommended) and everythng comes out clean and sparkling. I use Finish Power Ball Quantum Max and Finish rinse agent. The unit is very sturdy and well built. The inside is stainless and the rack is perfect for everything. The outside is very sleek with no knobs sticking out and super simple to start. It is amazingly quiet. I have a small home with living room and kitchen all in one and you barely know it's running except when the water is draining out. It fits perfectly on my counter, similar to a large microwave. There are only two of us and I will never go back to a full size dishwasher again.

Amazing

The dishwasher is nice. Mine arrived well packed so no damage from delivery. It holds one person´s dishes but it is "short", that means some larger plates might not fit. The instruction manual is not very good as it covers many languages but not details (i.e. how to connect hose to water connection), but once it is going it does an amazing job. Do recommend you tighten your nozzles well in the back and not move it afterwards, as they easily move and water gets everywhere. I recommend this for a small apartment, or office.

Nice little fellow.

This is my second Danby dishwasher; I only retired the first one, after over 20 years of faithful service, because I could no longer find maintenance parts. But I'm not disappointed. This new unit performs at least as well, if not better, than the original, with more space for dishes and more cycle options. And don't forget the flexibility to wash pots and pans, not just place settings! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a small kitchen and no room for a standard built-in dishwasher.

I love my dishwasher, it fits the perfect family load of dishes we use every day, it is very quiet when functioning, very easy to use, it is bigger then a microwave.  It was delivered on time!

Love my countertop dishwasher

Fits nicely under counter and does job. I live in an apartment and had to get an adaptor for my faucet. I am probably going to use it on a mobile cart with storage below and so I can wheel it in when I need it. This keeps my current kitchen area free and gives me some new space. If your unit doesn't have or no room for a built in, this is a good value solution.

It's my 2nd Danby dishwasher. They are awesome! Do a great job as long as you don't overpack it. 
This model the button/settings options are much better than my previous model. 
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, the dishwasher soap dispenser doesn't flip open at all or only a little bit if anything is in utensil section right in front of it. Also, the hoses don't seem to stay as secure as I recall on my previous version. This one I have to verify the connections with every wash. I just don't remember having to do that very often on the previous model, which was about 12 years ago.
It does a great job. Be sure you have the hottest water on, it doesn't heat the water. Yet with that it does a great job. I'm glad to have it.

Great appliance! Recommended w/minor glitches

Good compact dishwasher, works well, very quiet.  It took a while to totally eliminate leakage at the kitchen faucet with the supplied aerator, but it's OK now.  Unit doesn't dry the dishes; I just open the door after cycle is complete to allow drying.

Good compact dishwasher

I'm very happy with my purchase but have two minor complaints:1) If using the top left area for long utensils then trying to use tall glasses becomes difficult to find a spot where they are secure and 2) there is an area behind the utensil basket where it is more open to the "water sprayer" and limits what can be put in that area.

I have purchased 6 of this model Dish Washer over the past 15 years.  The price keeps going up and the quality goes down as the recent purchases don't last as long as the older models did.

Diminishing quality

I bought this because my kitchen is small and narrow, does not fit on my countertop, had to place it on rolling cart. When unpacked, it had water inside the dishwasher, as if it had been used. Does not dry the dishes, when disconnecting from faucet, water spurts out the hoses even after draining them. There is no place to store the hoses or electrical cord, had to buy a sticky hook to hang the hoses and cord. The cycles are extremely long! Coffee cups do not fit on the mug holders as there is only about a 3" space from holder to top, so I use it for long cooking utensils. Bottom rack spaces are too big to put small bowls, they fall through beneath the rack. Hopefully, for as much as I paid for this item, one can only hope it lasts, but not surprised if it doesn't, safety precautions on over priced investment, I purchased 3 year extended warranty. Only have used it for a week, time will tell.

Too many flaws for the price.
