Size

I purchased this for my son's room so he could keep his bottled water, soft drinks cold and not use up all of my refrigerator space in our main one.  it is working out even better than I thought it would and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small compact for extra space to keep like things.

We wanted something to put on back porch to use either for
soda's and drinks for the grandkids to eliminate going in and out of the
house when the weather is nice. Also serves as a great beer keeper! LOL
When the adults are over it is very convenience, or so my husband convinced
me of this. Either way, looks great and holds a descent amount of cans. We like
that there is no freezer compartment to take up space from the refrigerator.

Great little fridge!

I previously owned this exact Danby Model to refrigerate beer on lake porch, it lasted 6&1/2 years, 3 years longer than previous (brand).  It

It lasted 6&1/2 years, 3 years longer that previous brand that did not cool as well and space limited to 30 pack. Danby holds new 30 pack plus 8 or 10 left over from last pack. I just purchased new Danby and was glad they had exact same model.

I bought this for a camping trip and set it up in the garage prior to the trip with a thermocouple inside a water glass inside the compartment. Within 24 hours the water was 40 degrees without any other mass inside the compartment. The dial was set at half way. It runs so quietly I had to put my ear to the back to determine if it was on. Then I loaded it up with water bottles and can soda then brought those to 40 degrees then unplugged it to see how fast it lost temperature. The contents dropped temperature about 1 degree per hour with the ambient garage temperature about 80. I wanted to see how fast the compartment would lose temperature because I need to know how often and frequent I need to run my generator on my camp trip. I turned the dial all the way cold and within 24 hours the temperature of the contents dropped to 37. I think that's about as cold as it will get. Great little fridge and only about 45 pounds empty.

Nice little fridge

Five years and still working well and to be honest it doesn't get handled with the best of care. Says it only weighs 43 lbs.... must be a heavy 43. Feels more than that when you have to move it around.

Seems every small refrigerator I've ever had makes a bunch of racket, but the Danby, aside from being a heckuva refrigeration unit, is QUIET. Nice, considering it sits about 2-3 feet behind my office chair. I'd definitely recommend that you use a thermometer, as it will definitely freeze you Pepsi's (lol)... Bottom line: You might pay a couple of bucks extra for the Danby, but I highly recommend that you bring one of these home.

Using it for extra beverages

Perfect fridge

Shelves are adjustable to accomodate taller items holds much more than you think for it's size. Just the right size for my office. Holds it's temperature. I would purchase the same fridge again. Price was good.

It's a great small fridge

I ordered this refrigerator for work because it was one of the few fit in the small space I have and didn't offer that useless freezer section. From day one, everyone seemed to like it and having the can holder section on the door. This section frees up a ton of space for us and fits several bottles of water or soda.

Good little refrigerator

This little refrig is exactly what I needed to fit under the counter of my bar. It holds enough cans and bottles, plus one tall bottle, to satisfy our needs.
One recommendation for the manufacturer: Inside the manual it reads "allow the unit to remain stationary for two hours before turning it on". If this is a requirement, then a sticker should be placed on the exterior of the unit near the on switch! I turned it on before reading the manual, as I am sure many others have done. Bad engineering.

Just what I needed

This fridge was great for the first few months but now it keeps freezing random items in it. It's strange because the placement doesn't seem to matter, just certain things freeze and some don't. My carrots turned into tiny ice nuggets and my milk is a giant carton of slush. Not fun. Don't recommend (unless you like eating the icy versions of your favorite snacks, of course).
