Simple to set up, got started and runs without any issue. Noise is not an issue, seems to be working well and functions with minimal energy usage as the 'box' itself is great at insulation, providing extra cold protection. So far no issues with frost but it has been just a few months of operation.

We just purchased another freezer by Danby and here is to hoping that it is as good as the other ones we have purchased in the past. Only time will tell.

Danby products have worked great for us in the past

I had an "old Danby" before and it lasted for years. I could not believe how the space is so much better and how fast it was to freeze. Also bonus is the light panel so that you know all is good. I highly reccomend this Freezer. Great when you don't have a lot of room.

Great Freezer

I like the previous 7 cubic feet model before. It was more rectangular and this one is more square. I don't understand why the underneath of my 2012 model was so gross looking compared to this one. At least this one looks finished underneath. I will send you a picture of my previous one. I don't know how to send you an image. Let me know the reason it is made like that! This freezer works good so far. I only had it for 2 months.

It is a good size for me. It will serve my purpose.

Spacious, practical, very quiet --- you could forget it is there! Only didn't give it five stars as some of the frost always finds its way near the door hinge at top of seal (unsure if this is normal or the gasket is not making seamless contact but anyways not a huge deal for now).

Worth the money

Nice looking, simple, good size, quiet, and easy to operate freezer. The warranty is longer than most other brands, and that shows Danby is confident in its products. Recommend including 2 racks inside the freezer instead of one. Also provides handles or holes on the carton box to make moving the freezer safer and more convenient like some large TV boxes.

Build quality is not as good as I thought. So the price is not cheap.

No LCD LIGHTING

It is not 7.0 cu ft!! If the motor compartment is counted then yes, but if the freezer space is counted it falls short. Please adjust that on all your freezers so people know the truth about the size. Now people with mobility issues have to find someone to go measure the freezers to make sure that they have the amount of freezer space they are buying.
