Has a light inside the freezer for easy visibility.

Ideal for small areas and households with limited space.

Features two baskets for organized storage.

Offers reasonable price point compared to similar models.

We decided to upgrade from our 7cuft Danby that we bought around 10+ years ago to this beautiful model. Chose the model with the 5 year warranty in hopes that it has the same quality as the last one. Works even better and is the perfect size for meal prep and the rest of our food.

Perfect upgrade!

We purchased the freeze as part of our freezer order. It works very well so far, it's very deep and cold. We will promote Danby stand alone freezers.

1st time purchase of Danby stand alone freezer.

danby.com

Like the light inside!
Please can you make a adjustment to the expiration date of my guarantee: I see 1/1/1975, My purchased was on 5th august 2026. I just completed today. Thanks

Guarantee

Absolutely no issues from the time it was installed until now--and it is still going strong. If the cord were as long as the previous freezer, we would not have had to move the receptacle but it was shorter by about 2 feet.

Great Freezer

This is my 3rd purchase of a Dandy chest freezer 10 cu. Ft. I have never been dissapointed. Perfect, size making it easy to organize and clean. Fits in smaller spaces, quiet and light for quick confirmation that it's on. Highly recommend Danby products

Great freezer

Tried for two years to get this freezer through various appliance stores around Calvary. They always had it on their website but going into the store they couldn’t get it but they always had a more expensive name/brand that I didn’t know with only a one year warranty, finally found it on Walmart and it arrived a few days early so far so good

Danby freezer

We had a small Danby freezer (that was 20yr old when we decided to replace it with this larger one) and it seems to be great - garage-ready, has a light inside, and two baskets. The size is perfect for 2 people that like to freeze bread to keep it fresh, store nuts and pet food in it to keep it fresh, etc. The TWO baskets instead of the usual one make it so much easier to find those little items like frozen herbs, parmesan rinds, etc, that we use occasionally and don't want to dig around for (we keep things organized by using large cloth shopping bags to sort things in the main compartment). If this one lasts as long as our last Danby, I'll be thrilled. The 5yr warranty is great too!

perfect freezer for the garage

So far, so good ! Just had the freezer delivered yesterday so I can't comment a lot about how good it is.
Pleasantly surprised to see that it has a light (many online reviews said it didn't )
It replaced a 30 year old chest freezer ....hope to get even 1/2 of that lifespan out of this one :)

New Addition to the Fam :)

Nice size... like the wired baskets and easy to read and manipulate temperature control on front of unit. Just received so just hope that the longevity is good, as many new appliances seem to have short lives.

Great Little chest freezer.

Just got this Danby 10 cu. ft. freezer today. Turned on at standard #4 setting and it cooled down fast, so all good so far. Aluminum is frosty and hope that doesn’t mean quick ice buildup but time will tell. Downsized from a 12 but seemed to hold what we need so far. Always had good luck with Danby products so hope this continues the run.

Nice mid size freezer

The size is well proportioned and suits for my needs. Also, the storage baskets are a bonus. The only inconvenience I'm encountering is the flickeringl light when tapping lightly on the lid or placing items in the freezer. The vendor says that it's normal and there's nothing that can be done to solve the problem. I'm skeptical of his response.

Great freezer except for the flickering lid light. A video has been sent regarding the problem (CASE544295)
