Positive

Satisfaits belle petite cuissière fonctionnelle et simple.

Cuisinière génial

danby.com

This stove is an excellent size for my small apartment and works just like its bigger brothers. The controls are easy to understand and you know exactly which element is on.

Really great stove

Burners heat up really quickly! Love my "Barbie" stove

Barbie stove

I haven't had this oven for long. It works at the moment. But what I found weird right away is that there is no plug-in receptacle as is in most ranges. But of much more importance is that the back of the range gets quite hot to the touch so placing it against the wall seems counterproductive. But where else does a range/oven go? Also, there is a ventilation fan at the very back blowing hot air against the wall, another strange feature, both of which are safety concerns. I ended up installing a piece of 24 gauge aluminum sheeting as a heat guard on the wall behind the oven.

Not sure yet

I am 82 years old and have used many many different stoves in my time but this Danby stove is a piece of garbage and should be taken off the market. I live in a senior manor and they bought 2 Danby stoves to replace the ones that needed replacing and both myself and the other lady cannot bake in these ovens. Its sad at this time in our life we even have to give up baking as well.

Lousey Stove

My rental unit has one of these and it has destroyed any joy I had from cooking; if this isn't the worst range on the market, I'd hate to see what is.

My new cookware is scorched and stained from excessive heat, and at no point has any element been turned up past the 3rd mark.

The oven is borderline unusable. At the lower end, it runs 50 degrees hot, and by 300 on the dial it's already 450+ (my thermomoter stops at 450). Having said thermometer is of little help as the thermostat is so slow and vague it's nearly impossible to get the temperature you actually want. At best you try and hope for something within about 50 degrees of your actual temperature - and this is a slow and time consuming process.

I would give this zero stars, but I can't. 1/5, because my boyfriend told me he loved me for the first time after I was crying my eyes out trying to use this piece of garbage.

Misery Machine. Absolutely terrible..

This is the cheapest model of apartment oven/stove from the elements to the LOUD fan that runs for an hour after turning off the oven
DO NOT PURCHASE

Danby DERM240wc model Stove

Had two of these stoves within the span of two weeks, the stove stopped working in both of them after only a few uses. In fact, the power to the entire stove portion stopped working— the stove light wouldn't come on, and neither would the stove elements heat up. The burners remained functional however.

One star because a stove is supposed to be used to cook food and this appliance unfortunately failed spectacularly at its one function.

Recommend to avoid at all costs

Danby DERM240WC 24" Wide Electric Range in White front-facing freestanding view of a 24-inch white electric range with four coil burners and lift-up cooktop, push-and-turn knobs, large metal/glass oven door with XL viewing window and interior light, 2.5 cu. ft. oven with two racks (three positions), hidden bake 2000 W and broil 2200 W, ADA compliant; compact option often used as a secondary cooking station in condo kitchens.
