I absolutely love the compact look of the washer/dryer. When I used it for the first time, I was amazed and shocked that it packed such a big punch!! The clothes were clean and were wet dried. I'll surely recommend it

Fantastic Washer/Dryer

I bought this unit second hand, however it came out of a tiny home and was never used so was basically brand new. We needed one for our motorhome. I read all the comments and prepared for a mediocre to poor performance. I was pleasantly surprised. I have put in smaller loads than I normally would at home just because, well, it's a portable unit. But regardless, I have washed loads with a pair of jeans, sweat pants, sheets, etc, and my clothes get dry nicely. I use the quick wash process because we don't get our clothes terribly dirty, and they come out clean and dry. I would advocate using this machine anytime! Still new at I but so far so good.

Don't listen to all the complainers: this is a great machine as long as you have realistic expectations.

Yes, it takes 4+ hours for a load. You must have that expectation otherwise you're setting yourself up for disappointment and you'll be one of those 'complainers' in the reviews.

But, this combo unit is not vented so it can't be expected to operate like a vented unit, but yes, it does properly dry clothes in 4-5 hours per load. And it's a simple process: you put in dirty clothes and set the machine - and forget it! 4 or so hours later it's all done - and dry (unless you overload it). No swapping wet clothes from a washer into a dryer, no having to stay home to do this. It's sooo convenient.

And Yes, those that said it shakes around quite a bit; Yup it does. More than one would expect; But it does! - it shakes around quite a bit, but this is your fair warning about it.

We are using this Danby combo unit on our RV - in which we live/trave full time. Our previous RV (lived/travelled full time) we had a vented Splendide vented combo unit, and it took 2 1/2 hours for a load, and it didn't shake so much, but we tried everything in the world to try and keep the clothes from wrinkling bad - but there was no success and preventing the wrinkles. And it was only 1.8 cu.ft. - while the Danby is 2.7 cu.ft. - we can do waaay more laundry per load, and the clothes without fabric softener are waaay softer and nicer and feel good. This unit is a great combo washer/dryer that works very well and produces great results ... it's not a magic washer/dryer and isn't going to be like separate machine washer and vented dryer. Have realistic expectations and I'm sure you'll like it too.

Don't listen to the complainers

Love it but there could be better information concerning how all the functions work and how to shorten times.   Also why does my clothes come out with a musky smell.  Could use shorter wash times. Drying is very long but tolerable but needs a temporary stop to add fabric sheets half way through.

Awesome all in 1 washer dryer combo

So far so good. I did a test run with a small load and it cleaned and dried good. It's very quit and I like that you can clean the drain pump filter, not sure how often that's going to be needed. The controls work good too. Great for a small apartment.

Good combi for a small space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dry cycle is long capacity is small but thats fine for me. I personally love it but i would recommend it for anyone with a family. I couldn't even imagine trying to keep up on laundry with kids with this thing.

Shortest washing time is like 50 min. Dryer okay as long as the no spin is off and it's set on high heat for 3 hours and stop when you think clothes is dry.  It makes a high pitch sound I don't like suppose it's normal after calling support.veey heavy machine.

How do you have him and working for about a month. First thing is it takes 4 hours to dry a load of clothes can you believe it?
Do I get a load of clothes put it on dry for the 4 hours and instead of drying for 4 hours it washed for 4 hours and I have no way of draining all the water that's in the unit and it won't reset! Not very happy at this point! Was a big mistake buying this!

Don't consider it

Doesn't dry, ever. We have had this unit for about 10 months now. Even after running 8 hours of dry cycles the clothes are very wet. We recently called in a warranty service as it's obviously not drying out clothes, and the WARRANTY SERVICE GUY told us this unit was basically the worst and never dries clothes. So now we are basically left not knowing what to do.
