This is my second Dandy mini fridge. The previous one stopped cooling after 8 years of use. Although I wished it had lasted longer, we decided to buy another one based on the good reviews. We liked the idea it had no freezer compartment because we use it to store drinks in our family room. It looks good and works great for us.

Great price at Walmart!

No freeze required

I'm very happy with this Danby bar fridge. The white interior makes it bright and easy to see everything inside, and the auto-defrost feature was a must for me. We also reversed the door, which was fairly easy to do and a nice bonus.

Great bar fridge with auto defrost

The first mini fridge I bought in April 2015 lasted about 4 months. It had a defect and the place I bought it exchanged it for another Danby in August. So far, this fridge is working fine. I hope that the first one was just a fluke but only time will tell. However, the company seems to stand behind their products, which is a good sign that in general their projects are reliable.

Mini Fridge

danby.com

It is exactly what a man/woman cave should have for snacks and beverages. Perfect size and attractive also.

Great addition to man cave

One main feature we really like is the 8 bottle/can holders in the door.
Also, we find that the fridge is mainatining a good, steady temperature in the cool zone.

Very good fridge!

This small fridge is only good for storing things, like soda pop, that won't go bad if kept above 40 degrees for extended periods of time. Once the internal temperature reaches the set point, it stops cooling and waits until the internal temperature rises about 10 degrees before starting to cool again. (monitored over two days without opening the door) Since the fridge works by just cooling a plate at the back, the plate can actually freeze and freeze anything in contact with the plate. I'm a bit disappointed.

Not food safe

This is the second of these refrigerators purchased. The first one wasn't registered and receipt lost so repair work/warranty would not have not been issued. The seal started leaking at the top of the door and not keeping temp so had to be retired after 6 months of use. Disappointing. Would be nice if they had an easier warranty program.

Leaky seals

Had a same size Kenmore that was great. Finally gave out after 15 years. Sorry I bought this one as it is no good for keeping water, beer etc. as the coldest it gets is 40 degrees.

Dissapointed
