Great little Microwave that replaced a slightly larger and aging one.  Fits perfectly on an above-the-counter ledge, perfect for eye-level viewing and removal.

Great microwave

The microwave works very well.

This is my 2nd Danby microwave. I've used the first one for 8 years and served me well. This is my favorite brand!

Great brand

Quite pleased with the microwave for the price.  Heats very well.  Minor drawbacks: must press on keyboard harder, cannot enter cooking time to 20 sec for example.  Some times are preset and it is harder to work around those pre set times.

Good for the price

This microwave is very good once I got it operating setting the clock was very difficult even though I followed the manual I had to go to the internet to solve the problem . Then it took a lot of trial and error to get the cooking time set . The manual was wrong again. I haven't had any problems since then. I like this unit because it is large enough to take large pyrex dishes. I haven't tried all the features yet but overall I think this microwave well be perfect for me.

set up problems

We've only had the microwave for one day, but it works fine.  We can't figure out how to cook something for a few seconds...15 sec., 37 sec. etc.  That's how we used our old Danby microwave most of the time.  It will be disappointing if it's not possible to cook that way.

Danby 1.4 Microwave

We think that this microwave oven is very good overall. Possible improvements would be: (1) a quieter unit, and (2) the timer display, once set and started, should continue until the countdown ends and the beeper goes off. If one leaves the kitchen and comes back, one does not know if the countdown is done, requiring one to press the timer button to find out. the Express Cook function is very good and appreciated.
