[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this microwave. It's been a big upgrade from my old one. 1000 watts is the right amount for heating up food to me. Looks great. It's big so you'll need space.

More noisy than the other Danby microwave we had before and would prefer a handle to open the door instead of a push button.

The looks are great and it does its work. 
What I didnt like is, its too loud when used and when you close the door.

Hard to operate, all keys push hard, or not at all.  Noisy, when opening and closing door.  Power appears good. 
 Does not measure up to the Westinghouse it replaces.
You get what you pay for... not really.

So loud when it starts!  Yikes, thought it was broken…think it will not last long based on how it sounds.  Would not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Darby microwave June 18th 2024. as of September 30th. 2024 the turn table makes a grinding noise anytime unit is on and no matter witch direction clockwise or counter clockwise. it is very noticeable. sound like a bearing noise.  paid good money because was told is a good product. would not buy this name product again.

Quality fell short

It is a very noisy microwave.  Sounds like a loud motor.  And I found it wasn't very well made.   Pay a little more and get a microwave with inverter.

Not worth the money.

I had to return it because the unit was damaged when I opened it up. The packaging wasn't damaged, but the microwave itself was. That means it was taken out, damaged, put back in and sealed for resale. I cannot comment on Walmart's quality control process, other than it was not applied in this case.

Danny Microwave

Probably a good microwave but not what I ordered. This was a more expensive one that Walmart replaced the one I ordered with, and the additional 45.00 was charged to my card without my consent. I am on the farm and did not realize until I got home that it was not what I ordered. As going back to the city to take it back is very inconvenient for me, I will keep this one but am very upset at Walmart for arbitrarily deciding to replace the one I ordered with a more expensive one and charging me without my consent.
