Great Little upright  Freezer We no longer needed our old  chest freezer as it was  too difficult to find and remove items from it. I did make a floor stand for this  freezer to give some clearance for your feet when the door is opened.

I love this freezer! I had never heard of this brand but would never buy any other. I love the ease of being able to load and unload my frozen items. Thank you for making such a quality product. I wouldn't recommend this brand to anyone.

Quality product!

We are very pleased with the Danby Garage ready Manual Defrost Upright Freezer.  It fits into the space we needed, and it's very attractive looking. So far it's doing the job!

The new freezer is very good and we are very happy to have it!  Highly recommended for small spaces or as a secondary freezer.

I have to also give another 5 stars on the warranty service.  This was the main reason why we shopped the brand, and indeed when there was a problem with the older unit, we got fast and effective service at home.  No hassle.

Perfect size

Received freezer 3 months ago and all is well, works fine and seems to hold a constant temp. We are running it at 3.5 on a 0-5 scale (5 being the coldest) and it holds about -10 degree F - so plenty of capability to run even colder. It is quiet, seems well insulated, and well manufactured. Being so quiet, we cannot tell how much it runs. The only negative we had is that we needed to reverse the door for our space. The instructions were helpful, but incomplete. When we reversed the door, the door did not seal tightly - there was a gap on the new hinged side. The instructions state that you want a good seal all the way around the door, but gives no instructions on how to fix this problem - if it exists. This means that we had to figure out how to adjust the top door hinge bracket - which meant removing the freezer top. We loosened, adjusted and tightened the door hinge bracket to its full extent and were able to get a good seal. This seal is important, because the freezer when it is closed draws a slight vacuum to ensure a good door seal (which you can hear immediately after the door is closed). I assume that if you don't have this good seal, the freezer will not operate properly nor efficiently. 
We took off one star for the door reversal issue.
