Design

Ideal for small spaces with ample storage.

Ideal for apartments or rooms with limited floor space.

The Danby 10.1 cubic upright freezer is surprising spacious. I downsized from a 17.4 cubic freezer and was able to get most of my contents into this freezer. It runs quiet. The freezer is a better fit for 2 people who like to cook from scratch and purchase bulk items when on sale. I prefer the upright freezer design because it allows you to see what you have at a glance. Make sure to write down the Model and Serial number from the back panel before putting into place. So far very happy with the freezer.

Great Small Freezer

danby.com

We don't keep a lot of frozen food, but enough so that the freezer section in our refrigerator is full. Additionally we had a space in our laundry / hobby room that a smaller size upright freezer would fit. The 10.1 cu ft Danby was one of the few freezers we found that fit our need. Having never heard of the brand we were a bit hesitant to buy it until we learned that it was made in Canada. The fit and finish of the freezer is very good and it keeps our food frozen. If the need arose we would not hesitate to buy another Danby product.

10 cu ft Freezer

Excellent freezer to date. Fits in a small corner (with clearances) and is quiet. Solved our need to replace/downsize a 19 cu ft. one that died. The Danby looks so good, it's a part of the kitchen. Lots of space for kid's artwork-holds magnets BIG plus.

Fit our needs

This upright freezer was easy to set up, got cold quickly, and has held a steady temperature ever since. The 10.1 cu. ft. capacity fits a lot without taking up much floor space. Note the shelves are not height adjustable. It runs quietly and manual defrost takes a little upkeep, but it keeps food well frozen with less freezer burn. Highly recommend!

Danby Designer Freezer

Very pleased with purchase. Spacious interior with clean, modern outward appearance. Lots of shelving. Cools down and recovers temperature quickly. Very quiet running in all stages. My only request would be an Interior light.

No regrets!

This size freezer is perfect for the space available. It holds plenty of food and has storage space on the door which is not on all uprights. This is the second danby 10.1 that we've owned. Our first worked well throughout its 13 year life.

Dependable Freezer

We just received our 10.1 cu foot Danby freezer and are very happy with its size. The shelves are well spaced and will hold a lot. It fits perfectly in our basement space.

We just received our Danby 10.1 cu ft freezer and are very happy with its size. The shelves are well spaced and it will hold a lot. It fits our basement space perfectly.

A really good upright freezer. I got it to replace an old chest freezer and this is so easy to access and does not take up a lot of space. I like the shelf space a lot, and it looks like it will be easy to clean. It freezes things very quickly and I am looking forward to using it.

A Great Upright Freezer

I did a lot of research before de iding on this freezer from Danby, and I am very happy with my purchase. The freezer is quiet and sturdy and hold a lot food in its spacious interior. I highly recommend!

Great freezer!

I received my stand-up Danby freezer model # DUFM101A2WDD three months ago. I am happy with it. However, the door is a little difficult to open at all times.

Stand-up Danby freezer

I'm disappointed with how this frost issue was handled. Despite following the instructions provided, frost keeps building up far more quickly than it should. It affects performance and requires constant scraping or defrosting, which is frustrating and time-consuming. The product works okay otherwise, but the frost problem makes it hard to recommend unless you're prepared for regular maintenance.
