This is my second Danby dishwasher; I only retired the first one, after over 20 years of faithful service, because I could no longer find maintenance parts. But I'm not disappointed. This new unit performs at least as well, if not better, than the original, with more space for dishes and more cycle options. And don't forget the flexibility to wash pots and pans, not just place settings! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a small kitchen and no room for a standard built-in dishwasher.

I bought this dishwasher some months ago, the UPS guy who delivered it was impressed with it's size and plans to get one for himself. I am very satisfied with this little guy, it's much quieter than my previous and does a very good job, holds a good amount of dishes and is perfect for my studio apt. Very easy to set up.

The perfect little dishwasher, that could.

[Employee of walmartcanada] I was hesitant about purchasing this dishwasher as I had a counter top dishwasher before that did not work well, often requiring dishes to be run through three or four times to get them clean. 
I am actually quite pleased with how well this machine works. I've only had to rewash a single load due to my own error - I placed a long spoon across the area between the utensil basket and the door which caused the detergent compartment to fail to open. Other than this, the machine has operated flawlessly and as well as a full sized dishwasher. My sole complaint is that some of my larger plates will not fit as the machine is too short for them unless I wash just a few at a time.
I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone on a budget or with a small kitchen. I have placed mine on a wheeled microwave stand, turning it into a portable dishwasher with built in storage for dishes and the like.

I have never had a countertop dishwasher and wasn't really expecting it to be a REAL dishwasher….I cannot express enough my absolute joy over this dishwasher.   It cleans sparkling clean and I only ever use cold water from the tap and use the 45 min cycle!

Countertop Dishwasher

I really like this dishwasher. Installation was incredibly easy - just had to make sure I selected the correct washer size for my faucet adapter to get a perfect seal. Once hooked up, the hose setup integrated effortlessly with my current faucet.
The build quality is top-notch; the door feels heavy and solid, and the entire unit is very robustly constructed. It is exceptionally quiet while running and very easy to use. Overall, it's a highly practical addition for anyone tight on space who still wants great performance. Highly recommend!

Danby dishwasher

I'm very happy with my purchase but have two minor complaints:1) If using the top left area for long utensils then trying to use tall glasses becomes difficult to find a spot where they are secure and 2) there is an area behind the utensil basket where it is more open to the "water sprayer" and limits what can be put in that area.

It's my 2nd Danby dishwasher. They are awesome! Do a great job as long as you don't overpack it. 
This model the button/settings options are much better than my previous model. 
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, the dishwasher soap dispenser doesn't flip open at all or only a little bit if anything is in utensil section right in front of it. Also, the hoses don't seem to stay as secure as I recall on my previous version. This one I have to verify the connections with every wash. I just don't remember having to do that very often on the previous model, which was about 12 years ago.
It does a great job. Be sure you have the hottest water on, it doesn't heat the water. Yet with that it does a great job. I'm glad to have it.

Great appliance! Recommended w/minor glitches

Good compact dishwasher, works well, very quiet.  It took a while to totally eliminate leakage at the kitchen faucet with the supplied aerator, but it's OK now.  Unit doesn't dry the dishes; I just open the door after cycle is complete to allow drying.

Good compact dishwasher

I have purchased 6 of this model Dish Washer over the past 15 years.  The price keeps going up and the quality goes down as the recent purchases don't last as long as the older models did.

Diminishing quality

Purchased this in June 2019. Worked great for about a year and a half.
I'm writing this in January 2021, just a bit over a year and a half after purchasing. The unit no longer works. Water won't drain. There's no way to fix it at home, which means I'm probably going to have to pay more than I paid for the whole thing just to get it fixed.
1.5 years is WAY TOO SHORT A LIFE SPAN FOR A PRODUCT OF THIS PRICE. try another product.
