Got this game after reading the reviews. Awesome game. My wife starts playing as soon as she gets home. There is no cheating in this game like with the wii. Arms legs and everything have to move. Its a little hard for me to play but still enjoy trying.

This game is fun and a half! They teach you all the moves and give them names and "flash cards" to remind you what to do. You can slow things down if you're not understanding a move. They have old school (cabbagepatch) and new school moves. You can play by yourself or battle it out with another player. Can't wait to play some more!

Super fun!

If you have a Kinect this is one of the best games you can get for it, along-side Kinect Sports. It's amazing how accurately it notices your form, and critiques you on it. And you thought "Dance Dance" games were fun. I've forgotten those games exist now. The set of songs is a mix of old school and current dance and hip-hop. It's very rare to see a move repeated in another song, and I love that. The moves for each song really have you feeling it too, and that puts the fun factor through the roof. I'm searching hard for a con, but having trouble. I guess I'd tell you to avoid it if you don't like moving around a whole lot(again, it's no Dance Dance)...because only after 2-3 songs in on hard, it starts testing you pretty good. Oh, I thought of another one...ceiling fans. Ouch.

Must own!

I just got this today and my husband and I love it! We both line dance, but this is different. It teaches you how to dance and we love the music!! If you like to dance or want to learn it's a must have! I am 55 and love the music! **We just got the xbox with the kinect, awesome!

Awesome!

Didn't get it at first, bu after looking on the internet I had to go get it. It is AWESOME!!! I've only had it for a day now but I've had so much fun with it, including my spouse and children.

Great game! It shows you step by step dance moves, has really good music and is and easy to work out to. LOVE IT!!!

AWESOME!

Dance Central has songs from different genres and different generations so that all can find something they like to dance to. Not only is it tons of fun, when you're done, you'll be breathing heavy. I'm 44, and it's the best exercise tool I've ever used because it's so fun I don't know I'm exercising. Kids of all ages absolutely love it and get hooked on it.

Fun, Fun, Fun

This is a "must have" if you own Kinect. Simply: If you like to dance, or need to practice on getting a good beat or balance, it's perfect. If you're weight-concious, you can enter your weight and it counts calories and time for you! On average, in an hour I burn 200 calories, each song is around 10 calories. It's easy and fun, and the whole family gaters around to play. Dance battles, laughing at the pictures, all while getting good music, excersize, family time, and fun! :)

Must have, fun add-on, and party bringer

Purchased this game as part of my xbox kinect bundle. Lots of fun for friends and family (and a great way to get some exercise)! The only real drawback I found was that only one player can play at a time, so others must sit out and wait their turn. Would be better if at least 2 people could dance at the same time.

Lots of fun with only one real drawback

We only played a few times so far and it's really fun. The one drawback is that the onscreen character that you have to 'mimic' is facing you, so you have to switch your arm and legs movements to the opposite side to match hers. It's unlike in an exercise or dance class when the instructor has her back to you an you follow it that way. Much easier! We keep messing up, but it's still fun!

When I order this dance central dvd-I thought it would cover all types of dances & music.
All it is hip hop & break dancing. I had hoped for more of a variety.
If you like hip hop & break dancing this is for you-if you don. stay away from this dvd.
