Just like all other Christmas lights in the world, all it takes is plugging it in a wall outlet, right?

Wrong!

You can't plug it in. 

Yes, the product details at the Walmart website says the Power Type is Plug in, it does not say where exactly you can and cannot plug in.

It turns out you can't plug in the light to a wall outlet, you must plug it in to a specific power adapter.

The label attached to the product specifies the required power supply as 24V DC, and it recommends using only a 24V/0.25A power adapter, model JT-DC240V0250-H, manufactured by CZJUTAI, "that was provided with this product".

It sounds all good, but the problem is, the power adapter supposedly "provided with the product" was nowhere to be found! Without a power adapter the lights would never turn on.

What a waste of money and time. 

I'm going to waste a bit more of my time and fuel sending this thing back soon.

Each one of the lights (only up for 3 weeks total) looks rusted or burnt. I am guessing they won't be working next year.
