I wanted to give these to my daughter. The first shipment was damaged and had to be returned. Walmart customer service was terrific. Unfortunately the same thing happens with the second order. The quality was lacking, but the customer service was great.

Nice Idea, Poor Execution

Simple , classy, understated

Smaller and much lighter than we expected.  Description said over three (3) pounds "net weight," or more than 1 1/2 lbs each.  That would be enough to hold up some books.  However, they do not weigh anywhere near that much, thus cannot hold up books.  We set them beside other bookends.  Do NOT recommend if you plan to use them as "real" bookends.

Lighter than description says

Tiny, inadequate and one tips over even without the weight of books,

These cats are cute, but in no way are bookends.  They have no weight to them and are too short to hold any book of any kind up.  They are great decor and that would be the only job.
