[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it to recaulk around my bathroom sink cause when the counter got wet it would leak the water down into the cupboard underneath the sink which was annoying so It sealed that off perfectly and the sink hasn't leaked since. Also I love that it was clear so you can't really even tell it's there. I really don't have any con's about it.

I would buy more for sure!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product around a tub/shower that has painted drywall bordering it. The paint went in smoothly and covered very well after the second coat. Unlike silicone that can take up to 5 coats to cover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DAP 3.0 Kitchen, Bath and plumbing sealant was easy to use, just like caulk. I like the MIcroban feature. Has a 10 year mold resistance promise, as well as water resistant in 30 minutes. Claims to have a lifetime guarantee, but I haven't had it on that long yet, time will tell.

Good stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew that DAP made products like this and I was going to buy another manufacturers product to seal around the sink in the kitchen. Since it was clear, I was able to apply a good bead to the sink and countertop without the seal being obvious. It performed as well as any other product like it, maybe better as drying time was less. I will buy more when I need to seal another kitchen or bathroom.

Another great DAP product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product! It took some getting used to, but was worth the extra effort. I've always used white caulk before. The clear was a nice change. I will never, ever use caulk that can't be painted, so that is a huge plus for me. After discovering some caulk used in our home was not paintable, we've been digging it out and replacing with this DAP 3.0 clear paintable caulk. Well worth the effort!

Great Product!

I've only applied this in the last hour, so I may have to come back and update. So far, I'm only impressed with how clear it is, but based on other reviews I'm not really sure that will last. I have only done a minimal amount of caulking, with Kwik seal, and that was far and away easier than using this. It was very difficult to squeeze out the caulk, even with a good caulking gun. It took me ten minutes to caulk one foot length because of how slow this was. I also had trouble getting it to stick to my shower base, like another reviewer. This made clean up much more difficult, since I had to make sure not to dislodge the bead once I got it to stick. I could not wash it off of my hands with soap - the stickiness remained. I had to rub off the residue with IPA. If it sticks and seals my shower, it gets three stars. If I have to do it over, it gets 1! Also, if I have to redo it, I'm definitely getting a different product that is easier to work with.

Like squeezing gummy bears out of a toothpaste tube

DAP 3.0 was one of the recommended caulks for a polystyrene shower wall kit. Since the other recommended caulks weren't locally available, I went with the DAP and I had considerable difficulty with it. It would barely stick to the polystyrene. Usually, caulk goes on to a surface and stays there. In this case, it wouldn't bond and it was very difficult to work it into the joints. Then, cleanup was a big problem. Since it was reluctant to stick, any disruption of the surface would tend to bring it away from the material. And cleanup, per the instructions I saw, required mineral spirits, rather than water. That's not a plus. I'd avoid this for polystyrene but it may work well for other surfaces. I'm giving it a 3. I"m going to have to say I would not recommend it because there's no option for "recommend with caution."

I used this product and had a very difficult time getting it out of the tube using the caulk gun. It says that it is paintable within 30 minutes but 3 days later the caulk is still very tacky and can be rubbed off too easily. I checked the tube but there is no expiration date listed. I would definitely use a different product next time.

Never cured and still very tacky

I used this product for the shower and it was great for about a year then it began to yellow. Another year went by and it looked like shot. I was thinking that shower cleaners might be the cause but I kept the tube and the dry sealer at the tip is turning yellow as well. The tube was kept in a dark cabinet so it is not light causing it to yellow.

Be ready to replace this sealant within two years.

I only have 1 star because there is no minus stars. This is by far the worst calking I have ever used. I have been in building and remodeling for over 40 years. I was surprised because have been using DAP calking for many years and always found dap a good product, still use it but this kitchen,bath & plumbing us garbage do not buy this product.
