I want a hair color that doesn't have ammonia and peroxide.  That leaves either henna (which can produce some strange colors in gray hair) or demi-permanent color. When Clairol stopped making a demi-permanent color, I found this product. Although it's marketed to Black women, nothing on the package says White women can't use it :-)  It's very easy to use. Just squirt it on, comb it through, leave it on for a while (I leave it on for an hour) and rinse it out. Any stains on the skin after coloring, come off easily with soap and water.  It smells nice and best of all, it "coats" the hair strands, which for me has a shining/polishing effect.  On my gray, the color fades after four shampoos, but the product is gentle enough to use every few weeks.

works good with my relaxed hair, noticed a lot less hair loss than other hair  dyes i have used.  Its getting harder to find this dye so i stock up and buy 3-4 boxes at a time.

I was looking for a color that would blend well with my skin color and not be hard on my hair. These was great and it covered my gray making it a highlights look like a cinnamon brown and it is very pretty. I love the fact there was no mixing and shaking and there were gloves and a plastic bag to cap in the box. This was the easiest color I have ever used.

I have been relaxing and coloring my own hair for years.  So happy I started using this color a few years ago.  After one use, I was hooked.  Coverage is great and my hair feels so soft and conditioned after.

Easy to Use/ Good Bargin

This description stated 3 pack. There was only one. It appears this was shipped from a beauty supply store and is very old. The picture on the box is very old and paper for instruction is faded. Will discard.
