I have use other bleach products for hair and they have always been so strong in smell, also taking longer and not lifting as good. But this kit! OMG lifts sooo much and the product smells amazing not bothersome at all. The  conditioner it comes with has a very generous amount on that tube. The mixing is easy, great for beginners and the instructions are easy. Once it's places and you feel it starts to dry just put a shower cap on to process and the moisture it builds up helps it process faster and damp the hair all over again. I would say if you have long hair try using two boxes. I absolutely recommend

Unlike the chalky lift powder, this applies easily, just like normal hair color. It lightened my hair from dark ash brown to light blonde (more than I expected) and my hair felt soft and healthy after.

Go blonde and healthy!

I always use the dark and lovely 396 luminous blonde but I was tired of having to use toner after. I wanted to try bleach but didnt want to spend a bunch of money. I was nervous to use the dark and lovely beach kit because some of the reviews mentioned that the product burned their scalp. 
I tried not to scratch my scalp but my scalp was soooo itchy. I wear a buzz cut and used clippers before bleaching my hair. I'm very happy to say that I didn't experience any burning. 
I did two applications to get it as close to a pale/platinum blonde as possible. First application I left it on for 45min. I rinsed it out with water only and it was a bright yellow blonde. The results of the second application turned out perfect! I left it on for 25 more minutes. I love my hair! 
The two complaints that I have is that the bleach powder is clumpy and doesn't mix well in the bottle. I ended up having to mix it in a plastic bowl because it was clumpy and super gritty. Putting it in the bowl, I was able to smooth it out. Also, before I transferred the mixture to a bowl, the mixture kept expanding coming out of the bottle by itself making a mess. 

I went a little over the time they recommend. Do not do what I did unless you're not of afraid losing your hair. Please follow the directions!

My new go to!

Not expensive, works really great,  hair very soft after using. no yucky harsh chemical smell. I always have very dark stubborn  roots right in the back, but this even got all of them.  I usually have to use two boxes just to get the color out, not this one! Very happy, highly recommend.

Love it

I've bleached my hair before my hair felt stiff afterwards with other products. this product after using their conditioner it made my hair feel manageable. I would just recommend using the product in a bowl to mix because it does expand having it stay in the bottle is not a good idea . the product does cost well since it's foam texture. use the recommended bottles I bought in a few realized I need more due to the length and thickness of my hair. my hair is black so it did lighten to a copper tone . I'm going to re apply to go lighter.

will not destroy the quality of your hair

It started to burn after 15 minutes. I forcefully left it on for another five minutes. Then I washed it off. Within those 20 minutes. My hair was bleached. One side came out orange looking. It got the job done within minutes

Unless you have no sensitivity this will burn

This lightens and does make your hair blonde. I only kept it on for 35 minutes  instead of an hour because my scalp started burning a bit lol. I wouldnt recommend keeping it for an hour. It lightened my hair from medium brown to a orange/charcoal color. I am a poc with natural hair and it did not damage my curls. I didnt use their toner but my own conditioner aussie which keeps my hair soft and moisturized.

Works but Scalp Burns

Did a great job at bleaching the hair. Color came out even, however hair was EXTREMELY dry after rinsing…… BUT that said, the toner included infused so much moisture back into my strands I was thoroughly impressed. It did relax my curl pattern slightly, however all my natural curls are still intact. I did half my hair using the bottle in the kit, which was fine, but the other half I put in a bowl and applied with a applicator brush (just because it seemed quicker and would give a more even bleach job). Would absolutely recommend.

Worth it

im not sure why, but my solution came out extremely chunky. idk if it was expjred or what. i use dark and lively other blondes, and never experienced this. however, this was the first time i used the bleaching kit.

expired?

I didnt like the way it turned out on me , but my hair is just complicated i recommend this to people with there healthy and natural colored hair. Mine turned out a brassy orange looking color with some blonde and black , but again i say this would be good for those who haven't used black box dye for years with out removing the color each time
