You have to practice a few times to get the right amount of dough in the tray. Once figured out they come out very well. 
Follow the instructions about handling threat maker. It gets hot so be aware to use oven gloves or tongs to lift the lid.

The Dash Express Dog Treat Maker is really fun to use with children.  It's a great learning tool too.... teaching them to measure ingredients, mix, pour, and set a timer.  The big bonus is the grand-dogs love the finished product.

Doggie Delicious

This treat maker, which comes with a recipe booklet, gets the job done if you're making treats for a small dog. I have two small dogs so, I bought two treat makers to cut the amount of time it takes to make two batches of treats. The only issue I have is after a few uses the top cover has brown discoloration on one side from the escaping steam. The recipes are easy. My dogs love the peanut butter pumpkin treats. The treats are small and makes approximately 32 per batch. The treat maker  fits perfectly with my dogs homemade diet.

Great product

This was so easy and my dogs Loved it!  I found the cleaning to be the hardest part-   other then that- it's a must have!   they have great recipes as well - to bad they didn't provide a link for additional ones-  that would of been awesome…

My dogs Loved It

Harder than i thought to fill the mold properly. Maybe next time i won't try so hard to fill it without going over the sides and just trim the excess later. There is No on and off switch and No timer. These features would be helpful for future improvements. Recipes were easy to do. I followed the recipe directions but the treats came out softer than i expected. I wanted them to be hard and crunchy. I have used it only once so maybe with a little tweaking, it will be better!  Dogs didn't mind the softness. They loved the treat!

Ok but could be better

It is not user friendly; you to to use your fingers to pack the ingredients in the mold while the device is on- risk of getting burnt. 
The heat escapes as after 2 batches the exterior is discolored in the section the heat escaped. The latch is too small which to open/ close presents another potential risk of being burnt.

Wouldn't DASH to recommend the Dog Biscuit maker

very difficult to bet batter in molds without making a mess,, bones come out with cooked batter surrounding the pattern,,  it is a "TON" easier just to roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter....
