I did not expect this statue to be so nice and detailed.  It completes an italian garden that has transformed my backyard.  I will leave it outside until the freeze weather comes.  I will coat with a preservative like poly every year to maintain it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a Renaissance fanatic so I was very skeptical about purchasing this statue, fearing that it wouldn't have enough detail or be an accurate replica.  I watched this item for over a year and finally decided to make the purchase during the Christmas sale and I'm glad that I did.  The photos in the listing do not do the actual item justice.  The statue is missing fine details here and there that only a Michelangelo buff would notice.  Overall, though in my opinion pricey, it's a great piece.

Expectations Exceeded

I bought "David" about 1-1/2 years ago. I'm so pleased with with it! It's even more beautiful than pictured. I decided to keep the statue indoors rather than outside, and what a great decision! While I draped ivy over David's "parts" due to my granddaughters' easy embarrassment, the statue is a lovely focal point for my larger indoor plants and serves as a conversation piece of great interest. I would recommend it for both indoor and outdoor use.

BEAUTIFUL!

I always wanted to purchase this statue but was leary of its quality and likeness. Now, I have not actually seen the real David but this statue certainly captures what I believe to be a very authentic likeness. I have built a temporary stand for him and it looks great in the corner of my room. He accents the Mona Lisa painting on the opposite corner very well. Very happy I finally made the purchase.

we ordered the large David statue. It's absolutely beautiful. Couldn't be happier. Very tall and heavy enough to withstand a strong gust. Makes my yard look like Caesar's Palace. would definitely recommend

great statue cuality!!

Base of the statue is 17" wide, top of the plinth is only 16" wide leaving the statue base overhanging the plinth.  Not what I expected.  I use it indoors against a wall and have an overhead spotlight aimed at David's face.  Since he is looking to the side the light only hits part of his face, so I had to rotate the statue on the plinth base.  Again, not what I had in mind.

Beautiful but understand the measurements

Perfect fit for what i was looking for, indoors. Art nook my bathroom.  Ordered a custom lighted stand to go with. I think he'll be very happy here. Certainly a conversation piece. I would order again.

Loving your David Statue. One more Classic Elegant add on to my Greek - Roman Patio. Well Done "but" if only you have done it 10 inches taller will be the best replica size. But so far cant complaint. It is indeed Another Beautiful detailed classic sculpture.
