We totally love our new Daymak Max Large Folding  Ebikes! They are very sturdy, well built and great for active life styles where you might want to bring your ebike with you while travelling, snowbirding or on holidays. At their price point, they are an excellent value - we have been searching for a reasonably priced ebike for 2 years! This one checked all our boxes. We love that they have peddle assist, as well as a throttle for controlling speed - many comparably priced ebikes do not have a throttle. And best part, they are from a Canadian company! Kudos to Daymak!

Love our Daymak Max Large Folding Ebikes!

I have had a chance to ride my emax several times and overall am happy with it. I have not  ridden much in recent years due to some disabilities.  The electric assist makes it possible. It has all the power I need ti get up some steep hills on our bike paths. The bike folds up well with robust hinges and releases.  However, I had to replace the pedals with ones with more grip to help keep my feet on the pedals.  I had to put some Locktite and tighten several bolts on the bike with no problem.  The electronics are pretty low end.  The speedometer seems to read the pedal speed not the ground speed and indicates 0.0 when I stop pedaling.  The horn does not work except for the odd time.  It sounds too electronic anyway, so I installed a bike bell which is better recognized.  When I reduce the assist to no bar, it still assists as in level one.  I thought it would have no assist.  The shift handle works the derailer once adjusted correctly but is finicky.
