Safety Tips for Lithium-Ion Batteries

I am very pleased with the purchase of "Daymak Wolf Fat Tire Electric Bicycle". The ride is smooth and the bike is very responsive to the rider's action. The assistance from the battery is amazing, I suspect without the battery it must be very difficult to ride the bike since it is too heavy. The only minor complaint I have ( I am 70 years old boy!!) is that the bike is very heavy to lift it on the bicycle rack at the rear of the jeep. I bought a manual lift and solved the little issue.

comes mostly assembled in a large box. fit is ok needs some adjustments. battery did not want to lock into frame. brakes needed adjustment. made in china parts kind of rough. top speed 28 kph. can pedal it up to 32 kph. range not bad around 35 km with some left over

This Bike is a good bike and fun to ride, but I wish the range was much better. Once the battery is finished, for me it's almost impossible to peddle, especially up a hill. One manufacture defect is that the ignition plastic section pops out often, especially riding over pumps. The manufacture should put snaps on to hold it tight. I put scotch tape to hold it firm.

Good Fun Bike For Short Ranges

The bike in the picture isn't the exact bike your getting. Walmart doesn't allow the purchase of extended warranty (TG for their return policy...) The seat is comfortable but squeaks constantly, loudly, and its embarrassing because it sounds like the bike is falling apart. The noise turns lots of heads. Also, the seat (when set to a low position) comes into contact with the factory rack, and after a mile of driving - the seat leather is destroyed. Its always peddle assist, unless you turn the computer off, or stop and navigate through the advanced menu (huge safety issue - as after one pedal stroke, the bike lunges forward). The bike came with a user manual for other bikes, but not this one. It contradicts itself saying; you can charge the battery on trickle charge, but never charge it longer than fully charged...and... put 65 psi in the tires (despite the tires themselves saying < 30 psi). My communication with Daymak was laughable. I wish I never bought this bike, its disappointing.
