Runs well, easy to install, quiet and keeps us cool at night! Would recommend this product.

Portable Air conditioner

I have had portable air conditioners by some of the major brands (and a few off-branded units) for nearly 20 years.  Being as the entire cooling unit is inside your living space rather than hanging out a window like with the traditional window-mounted units, its rather inevitable the noise you experience inside is significant.  NOT with this unit. I'm absolutely astonished how quiet it runs even without invoking its "whisper" quiet feature.

Once engaging the "whisper" feature, its actually runs quieter than my table-top Hepa Filter machine, and runs about as quietly as a standalone box-fan I used to have many years ago. Impressive!

That said, there are a couple of minor drawbacks to this unit.

The thermostat readout does NOT give you a reading of current room temp, but merely remains on the number you have chosen as the cooling target temp so you have absolutely no idea what the room temp is until the unit shuts off after reaching your desired target temp. That's just lazy programming on the manufacturer's part.

The product description claims the unit has a variable air flow capability so you can adjust the direction the cold air stream goes... no such thing exists on this unit.  Though, being as it is on casters and moves easily, I suppose in once sense you 'can' adjust the direction the air moves by repositioning the entire unit itself, but come-on... that's NOT having "adjustable air direction", is it? WalMart needs to remove that line from its product description as it is simply untrue and tantamount to false advertising.

The remote is nice, easy to read in a highly lit room but as this is 2020 and not 1990 anymore, might it be an idea to back-light the thing?  When you are watching TV at night and have many of the overhead lights turned off, using lamps instead, you can't actually read the screen on this remote without having to walk over to the brightest lamp you have and shove the remote directly underneath the light bulb to be able to see just what settings you have put the thing on?  C'mon... an LED back-light would be a nice/low-cost added feature for an A/C unit that runs at this price range. Welcome to the 21st Century, perhaps?

Those few issues aside, I'm still happily shocked at how quiet this unit runs, and how quickly it does in fact cool down a 650 Square Foot one bedroom apartment.  Glad I made this purchase.

Delivery and good product

My machine does not work great,I am unhappy with my not being able to set a temperature,I feel not good in real feel mode!it does not dehumidifier below 60%  and 76f it's not cold enough, when my Small window AC 5k BTU was cold at 70f  .I guess is time to go back to a window AC again! No customer support at all on my real feel mode problem!
